Smoked Hmong Sausage inspired by the great Yia Vang Thai basil, Thai chillies, lemongrass, garlic, ginger and coarse ground pork - even with the binder the textural difference of the coarse grind is noticeable. Paired with that cilantro-lime sauce this is a brightly flavored sausage, perfect for the summer!

Join us at One Inn the Wood 3 May for a Cinco de Mayo celebration!

Cinco de Mayo is a widely celebrated holiday in both Mexico and the United States commemorating the historic victory of the Mexican army over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla 5 May, 1862.

Back home in Pilsen, Chicago and all across the country we celebrate Cinco de Mayo with tacos, cerveza, and friends - we are really excited to do the same this year by bringing Cinco de Mayo festivities to One Inn The Wood.

We'll have Smoked Pork Carnitas, Smoked Beef Barbacoa, Fresh Hand Made Flour Tortillas and Esquites (Corn Salad) on the side!
