❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is a post I have been deliberating over all weekend. It is with great sadness that I announce my retirement from the business after 10 fabulous years. Ever After is now under the new ownership of Mechelle. If you have visited the boutique recently you may have already met her.
I have now contacted as many of my pending brides as possible and apologise if I didn’t get to personally speak to you. I shall be popping in and out of the boutique over the next couple of weeks to ensure that if your dress is currently having alterations that I have seen your bridal journey through to your dress collection. My clients are my priority as they always have been. For brides who have their dress in storage, please feel free to call and collect. Please make sure you have booked in with a seamstress now for fittings 8-10 weeks before your wedding day.
Mechelle herself is getting married on Sunday and is busy getting to grips with the business and the last-minute preparations for her big day. Please bear with her during the transition period. Thank you for your patience and understanding at this time. The boutique phone number remains the same on 01924 444814 and if you need to speak with me please leave a message with Mechelle or on the answer phone and I will call you as soon as I can.
There are so many people I want to thank but this would be an extremely long post if I did! My family and friends you know who you are and how you helped support me whether it was painting the shop, modelling at catwalks, taking photographs, helping at wedding fairs or keeping me sane with lots of coffee! I particularly have to thank my rock of a husband Nigel without whom I would not have been able to continue in the business for the past ten years, Katie, Amy, Tim, Pauline and Billy, my parents in-law, brother and sister-in-law, seamstresses Danielle and Jean, Wedding Fayres Yorkshire team (particularly Lan), Yorkshire Wedding Consortium (Graham and Lisa) and last but not least my Saturday girl/work daughter Emmi.
This has not been an easy decision and I will miss being involved in helping you all find the most important dresses you will ever wear. It has been an honour to be a part of your special days. Many of you have become friends and I know that we will always have a special bond and will keep in touch.
My wedding Fair family of suppliers, I will miss you all.
It has been an amazing journey. Thank you for putting your trust in me. I wish Mechelle every success for the future.
Much love
Sally Anne xx
