Do you know why our food tastes so good and is healthier than the run of the mill restaurant/takeaway rubbish?

Well, it is because we don't use any hidden fillers such as rice powder, ground nuts, cornflour etc. and also, ours are packed with meat - we don't count the pieces and then give the illusion of a.massive portion by adding loads of veg and thickening the sauce/gravy/masala.

Also, our flavours come from cooking each dish from scratch and cooking the proteins in the spice mixture that actually constitutes the final dish. We do not pre cook any meats or use a big pot of base which would make all our dishes taste samey.

These recipes have been developed by me personally over many years - our rice is testament to our hard work and the success of its taste is demonstrated by the number of people that keep trying to prise the recipe from me 😂

Fresh, healthy, clean and tasty - what more can you ask for from a meal at an event/festival?

Oh, and kids, fussy eaters and those that think they don't like curry love them too!

It's becoming increasingly difficult to make money in this game....

Sometimes I wonder why I don't just buy some cheap s**t and sell it for a massive profit. Then I remember why I started this business in the first place.

That doesn't keep me and my family fed and watered though, fighting hard to keep us viable.

I don't want to have to work for someone else and make them rich from my skills and hard work.

Not a sympathy post, just a reality check

Fancy a bit of work in May or know someone that might?

We need 1, maybe 2 members of staff for a couple of shows in May. Weekends of 10-12 & 24-26 May.

These are busy shows, but not absolute behemoths. Ideally you've got experience of working in a kitchen or food stall and are up for working in a fast paced, busy and what can be a noisy environment at times.

You need to be able to deal with direct instructions and have a "time to lean, time to clean" attitude to work. Good levels of personal and general hygiene are essential in this role too, if I smell, I want to be told because that's no good for anyone! 😂

Good rates of pay and travel covered, you'll be sleeping in a tent possibly with other staff of different sexes, so you need to be aware of those arrangements. Privacy is assured for changing etc.

Please don't suggest people that don't have a good work ethic as this can lead to grumpy Mick coming out to play, and that's no good for anyone!

Oh, and free curry all weekend too! 😁😋

Proud to be working with O.C.E.A.N Cheshire - Organising and Caring for Ethnic and All Nations, Crewe FC & Cheshire Football Association this coming Sunday 14th April. This is a Charity Football Day at the Cumberland Arena to celebrate Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation

We will be serving our food from 11:30 - 16:00 or we sell out!
