Just to let you know, the tennis net on the court behind West Hill Village Hall has gone up today, so please feel free to come along and enjoy the facility. There is no booking required and no charge, first come first served. Please note that due to work we expect to start on Monday 15th August lasting up to 2 weeks, the court will not be available during that time.

Treasurer vacancy at West Hill Village Hall

The position of Treasurer on the Village Hall Committee becomes vacant from 1 August. This is a voluntary role and provides a great opportunity to support the running of an important amenity which is at the heart of our local community, whilst working as part of a friendly team. When all our users return from lockdown in the coming weeks, we will be back to managing a vibrant hall with its wide range of over 20 regular groups.
Key responsibilities include overseeing financial aspects of the charity, on behalf of the trustees, to ensure its ongoing financial viability. The Village Hall Committee meets every two months and receives an update on the hall’s finances from the Treasurer at each meeting.
If you have financial services or accounting experience and would be interested in finding out more, please contact our retiring Treasurer Gary Woolfries in the first instance, by email to [email protected] or call 01404 814216 to discuss more about the role.

With Spring upon us and the pandemic hopefully in retreat, we are very much looking forward to welcoming back our many users who have been unable to enjoy their various activities over the last few months. Thankfully, the Hall has not been closed during this last lockdown, due to Preschool and Primary School children returning after the Christmas break.

OUR ANNUAL PANTO IS COMING!

Friday 6 January 2017 at 6.30pm and Saturday, 7 January 2017 at 1.00pm

Wonder Productions join us for their 7th year to entertain us with their performance of CINDERELLA, a fun filled pantomime for the whole family!

Get swept away by one of the most enchanting fairy tales of all time, as Wonder Productions brings to life this Christmas, the most loved pantomime of them all – Cinderella.

This classic rags to riches story tells us of the beautiful young girl who is cruelly treated by her jealous Ugly Step-sisters. If she’s to meet her Prince Charming and find true love before the clock strikes midnight, she’ll need all the magic her Fairy Godmother can muster up, along with the help from her best friend Buttons.
