Today I had the honour and pleasure of doing something new. A friend asked me to help her make a blanket for a grave for a young lady friend who sadly passed away earlier this year, before her time. This is a Norwegian tradition. It was a cold but sunny morning and it felt special tucking her up for the winter. This was made using only a wire frame. The birds will peck at the berries and the greenery will biodegrade over time. Keep warm young lady.

It's Christmas!
So this year I have 3 suggestions although always happy to create something more bespoke should you have an idea of your own. Combining fresh and dried today for the harvest service. Love going for a walk and using seasonal bits (dead or alive) to add to arrangements. Exciting to be creating for the moment. Good to be back. I'm available for events and weddings should you like my work. Working with what's there. 😍 Happy place.

I'm back. It's been a while. I've had an incredibly busy time over the last few months with family, weddings and even my own wedding done in a Blooming Natural way! (Will post pics soon) Am starting to put together some dried flower wreaths. Here is a taster but more ideas to come. I'm keeping it natural and playing with different styles. They won't be to everyone's taste but design is personal and ever evolving. You sometimes just have to be brave and put it out there!

I haven't posted in a while as have been spending time developing different floristry skills and techniques. Trying out lots of different ideas....but loved making up lots of summer bouquets this week as thank yous for school staff, using different grasses and lavender to give that extra special point of interest and difference to a shop bought bouquet. Thank you for all the orders...i hope that all staff enjoy their well deserved break.

My new spring wreath. Moss backed with olive branches and other foliage, grape hyacinth bulbs and fresh flowers in water viles which can be replaced with fresh flowers. Packed with wax flowers ready to pop and little Easter eggs finish off this spring beauty! I'm selling these for £35 but not making too many this year. Please message me to place an order 😊

I have lots of these gorgeous pink double tulips, white tulips and pink linoleum this week.
All handtied bouquets come wrapped in simple buff recyclable paper as always. (See last pic)
Different combinations/sizes possible but as an initial idea:
20 stems of tulips, handtied, wrapped and delivered locally for £12.
Add pink linoleum for £15.
Collection from Cotterstock is always available if delivery is too far.

These Olive branches are freshly cut presented in a professionally cut wine bottle vase and with a preserving liquid which will allow this arrangement to dry naturally and stay beautiful. I only have a few of these..and yes...i am keeping 1 for myself! Please message me to order
