Wow! Thank you for all your support and fantastic feedback so far - it’s been busy but fun!

Despite the rain, we managed to get all the seekh kebabs and Behari Boti bbq’d and delivered on the platters ordered. The rain got heavy but we didn’t give up! The positive feedback made it all worth it!

THIS THURSDAY’S SPECIAL is our popular LAMB HALEEM!

It’s main ingredients are lamb and pounded wheat, but also included are saffron and whole pulses, all put together with local spices from Karachi. Served with ginger julienne, squeezed fresh lemon juice, fresh coriander, green chillis (just to spice it up!) and fried onions!

The origin of Haleem lies in the popular Arabian dish known as Harees (also written as Jareesh). ... The Harees was cooked as the Arab empire was extended to different parts of the world. Harees was introduced in the Indian subcontinent by the Arab soldiers of the Hyderabad Nizam's army to the city.

RAMADAN THURSDAY SPECIAL!!

This Thursday we are making a special LAMB NIHARI.

And also Caramel Kheer (Pakistani rice pudding dessert with a caramel infusion)

Nihari is a dish with a captivating history and remarkable popularity on the Indian subcontinent. It’s history begins in the 16th century when it was made to be consumed after the morning prayer for the Mughal rulers and some say their labourers too. It’s a very rich slow cooked lamb dish, which would fill any hungry stomach!
