My first London gig on Thursday at The Pelligon! This week I was the DJ for the Peter Jones Foundation's Awards Ceremony 2024, playing over 3 hours of music from an Afrohouse/sunset mix themed opening to a funk and pop classics networking closer.

My first rig vs my setup last month - what a journey!

I started DJing six and a half years ago, my first few gigs at a local social club before being supported by Young Technicians Academy to do my first school disco; I didn't even own speakers when I started! From there I received funding from the Peter Jones Foundation to build out my equipment, and have been lucky to play over 100 gigs in the last three years alone from clubs to balls and engagement parties to sports matches.

It is crazy to look back at where I started, and I never imagined it going on for so long or so far. Every time it seemed like it would stop, a new opportunity came up and let me continue. I'm looking forward to getting back behind the decks for another year to see where they take me next. As always, do reach out if I could be a part of your next event!

My fourth Oxford RAG Ball at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History was on Monday! I played a 45 minute closing set with all the classics. Next week I'll be playing my final Oxford set of 2024

Looking back on past gigs this week! Back in March I DJ'd at Oxford Town Hall and Thirst for European Night, and in total I have performed at European Night three times.

I'll be back behind the decks in less than a fortnight! Will be great to be back performing
