Our gracious host for late lunch and a fabulous auction is Lord Vestey at our final stop Stowell Park Estate. Guests will navigate here at the end of the day to eat, drink and enjoy a fantastic auction.

The Estate has been owned by the Vestey family since 1921. It extends over 5,500 acres of grassland, arable and woodland on both banks of the river Coln. The estate includes the village of Yanworth, the main house is a Grade II* listed building and surrounded by extensive parkland, a mill, and a church, and the landscaped park is also listed Grade II on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens – a true gem of the Gloucestershire countryside. Come and explore!

Getting creative; Saturday Sketch Club, Live class Haven’t got artistically creative for years, a 1 hour class, all 8 minute sketches, number 1-5 in order. Felt almost child like to start with but the sketches progressed quickly. It’s amazing how it feels like riding a bike, you start off wobbly and out of practice and soon get into it.
Our tutor was fabulous, thank you for you tips and tricks. you’ve inspired me to do more…. thank you to my gorgeous influence for organizing ❤️love getting in touch with my creative side, it only needed a pencil and paper.

CHARITY FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR; so exciting to announce, I’m hosting “GCF’s GREAT ESCAPE” on Sunday the 25th of June. This is a navigational car rally, with a limit of 60 cars so book early to avoid disappointment.
This event is raising vital funding to invest in Gloucestershire communities. Through the Glos Community Foundation]
This is not only an exciting and fun day but a learning journey…shining a light on rural isolation and loneliness and the challenges facing rural communities.
You will not only meet some of our amazing local charities who work deep in communities but you will also discover some real Gloucestershire gems.
By supporting local businesses we support the local economy and in turn support employment opportunities.

Tickets on sale very soon so keep an eye out! Incentives if you fill a car.

classics will go first, so dust of that classic car and give it a spin… all other cars welcome, electric, bog standard…
What’s included; a full day of entertainment.

This event is not about speed but your skills in answering the quiz questions which will help you navigate your journey and reward you will a fantastic dinner.

I feel very strongly about the divisiveness we all feel in current times … I’m apolitical as I have never been impressed by any politician of any side, but so I object to the current party and their complete incompetence to recognise the important issues, from Liz .truss.mp tanking the country over night, the COLC exacerbated, to the othering, dehumanising of migrants and refugees by . I’m impressed at speaking out as most people don’t and so the good values in our society erode further. who was not comparing anything other than the language used by our current politicians, it’s where it all starts… this quote says it all!
