Congratulations to Kate and Mark who held their wonderful, intimate ceremony at on Saturday. ❤️

The weather kept us on our toes, but Kate and Mark are the most relaxed couple so we just rolled with it!

Having been together for ten amazing years with 4 children between them, the ceremony really was a celebration of family, each of the children had a role and included a sand unity ceremony which was a perfect visual representation of the blending of their family. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest who were all delighted to be sharing this special moment with this gorgeous couple, it was the perfect, relaxed ceremony they had asked for. Here are some lovely words from them:

"Wow! Thank you doesn’t cut it! What a fabulous celebration….there wasn’t one person who didn’t compliment your ceremony! A triumph! 💕 and the weather didn’t matter it added a sense of “us” to it!

From your calm nature to your bound book of the beautiful words just those finishing touches has created such a magical journey for us.

Thank you again xx

I wish so much love and happiness to Kate and Mark and their beautiful family. ❤️

I am so excited to be able to share these amazing images from a beautiful styled shoot at the stunning which has now been featured in 🧡🧡🧡

Check out the blog for more details:
https://wantthatwedding.co.uk/2024/06/17/pantone-2024-wedding-colour-ideas-peach-fuzz-styled-shoot/

The concept and design for the shoot was developed by the lovely Evie of , who found inspiration from the Pantone colour of the year for 2024 Peach Fuzz!

I have definitely seen an increase in peach this year, but rather than the summer/spring styling, we were able to show how peach can work as part of a different colour palette by teaming with gold and teal and the result was gorgeous! The richness of this colourway lends itself perfectly to an autumn/winter wedding.

The ceremony took place in the charming Pole Barn where the styling was inspired by the natural elegance of our setting using minimal decoration of foliage and candles. I designed vow booklets to tie in with the colour palette and we included a beautiful handfasting. Our lovely couple, then walked through a shower of natural confetti petals at the end of the ceremony.

The Oak Barn at Frame Farm is a stunning eco-friendly venue in the most beautiful setting and I am thrilled to be one of their recommended suppliers; I am so excited to be delivering a wedding there later this year.

It was fantastic to be involved in this incredible shoot and to work with a talented team of creatives who are all located within an hour of The Oak Barn Frame Farm.

This glorious June weather takes me back to a most beautiful wedding ceremony last year at the stunning KINGDOM where Kate and Dom celebrated their union.❤

It really was the most perfect day in every way; the sun was shining, guests were smiling and fluttering their white paper fans. We held their ceremony in the “Love Nest” set in the heart of The Seven Sisters; seven incredible trees all entwined and living together, most definitely nature at its best!

Kate and Dom celebrated with family and friends joining them from the UK, Germany, America, Andorra and Spain it was very much an international wedding and to ensure everyone was included, I delivered the opening words in English and German which was well received. Phew!

After the ceremony, everyone celebrated with fizz on the roof terrace of the Club House offering incredible views over the stunning countryside.

Their ceremony was so relaxed, yet so heartfelt and special; it is a day I will always remember and treasure and the most perfect way for Kate and Dom to begin the next exciting chapter in their lives.

I’m so fortunate to get to work in so many incredible venues with so many wonderful couples and suppliers, I sometimes have to pinch myself that I have the most wonderful job, that I truly love so much!❤

Congratulations to Jeannette and Phil❤
Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Jeannette and Phil held their beautiful, intimate wedding ceremony on the lawns of Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa with bright and beautiful hints of purple throughout. It was such a special ceremony, celebrating the joining of these two amazing soulmates. Jeannette arrived on the arm of her son, Jack and she looking absolutely stunning, Phil looked very dapper in his top hat and tails.

You could really feel the love between them and surrounding them as they made their heartfelt personal promises to each other. We included a handfasting in their ceremony to symbolise their love and commitment and their vows were forever sealed within the knot, never to be undone.

Their rings were kept safe in a beautiful personalised ring box which was placed beside a photograph of Phil’s beloved Mum who was to have been their ring bearer, but she sadly passed last year, she kept a watchful eye on proceedings and it was so wonderful to have been able to ensure that she was very much a part of their ceremony.💜

Jeannette and Phil chose some lovely poetry to include in their ceremony and as Alexander House is famed for its connections with the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, I opened the ceremony with one of his most famous love poems, Love’s Philosophy. Phil also included some beautiful poetry within his personal message to Jeannette, finishing with “Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be”!

I first met Jeannette and Phil 18 months ago and their wedding day has been a long time in the planning. We enjoyed a really lovely journey together and I was thrilled that their special day was exactly how their dreamed it would be.

In the words from Somewhere Over The Rainbow, “the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.” ❤️🌈

Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your day Jeannette and Phil and I’m so happy that you loved every single moment. Keep enjoying your never ending love story!

Their photographer was an absolute pleasure to work with, here are some of my photos until the professional ones are available!

Congratulations to Immogen and Dylan❤
The clouds finally parted on Saturday allowing Immy and Dylan to hold their wedding celebrations outdoors as planned, at the stunning

Their ceremony took place in the water gardens of the venue's beautiful Italian gardens and the ceremony area was decorated with white and cream florals by providing the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. The soft, natural colour palette continued throughout their celebrations.

Immy and Dylan are the most lovely couple and I really enjoyed our journey to their special day; we met up in person at a pub early on in the process to discuss every element of their ceremony and a wonderful opportunity to get to know each other.

Immy made her entrance, through the water gardens looking absolutely stunning, on the arm of her proud Dad. Personal elements were woven throughout and I shared their love story; having been in each other’s lives for 8 years, there were some great stories to tell.

Most importantly, Immy and Dylan share a close friendship, a passion for horses and they absolutely adore each other. This was very clear from the beautiful personal promises they made, a very special and emotional moment during their ceremony.

Once the confetti shot and group photo had been captured, everyone celebrated in the pristine gardens, the wedding breakfast was held in the marquee, decorated with Italian Murano Glass chandeliers and beautiful florals.

It's always a pleasure to deliver ceremonies at the which is local to me. Immy and Dylan’s special day was the most wonderful and beautiful celebration with a real WOW factor and I couldn’t be happier for them.❤

Keep living the dream, you lovely two! ❤

It was fantastic to work with a great team of suppliers:-

Congratulations Ewa and Mena ❤
Saturday was such a joyful day at Coltsford Mill Wedding Venue where we held a wedding celebration ceremony for the most wonderful couple.

We celebrated the union of two hearts ❤ two families ❤ and two cultures ❤ Ewa is Polish and Mena is Nigerian and it was a wonderful opportunity to bring everyone together. The ceremony was lived streamed to Mena’s Mum in Nigeria.

It was so important to Ewa and Mena that their wedding celebrations were relaxed, meaningful and engaging and the historical Mill Room was full to capacity with families and friends, who they regard as their extended family, offering their love friendship and support to this very popular couple.

Their ceremony completely reflected their personalities with a rollercoaster of emotions throughout. There were tears, heartfelt moments and also lots of laughter with so many wonderful elements woven into their highly personalised ceremony. I shared their beautiful love story and we included some lovely readings. One was delivered by Mena’s Sister and there was also a surprise poem chosen by Ewa’s lovely Mum; When you Marry by Susan Branch; very relatable, very funny and the perfect choice!

To acknowledge their heritage we included a handfasting and the ribbons were red, white and green; the combined colours of the Polish and Nigerian flags. Ewa and Mena also made their beautiful, heartfelt promises which were simply stunning and full of emotion.

I have absolutely loved every moment of getting to know this fantastic couple, it has been so much fun; right from our first ceremony planning meeting, I knew we’d hit it off; so much energy and enthusiasm which continued all the way to their big day!

Ewa and Mena, thank you for choosing me to be your celebrant, it was such an honour to have been a part of your special day.❤

It definitely feels like spring is finally in the air today! Just over a year ago, Hatti and Adam were celebrating their union in full sunshine on the terrace of stunning Pembroke Lodge in the heart of Richmond Park.

The glorious weather and the breathtaking views across the park and the Thames Valley provided the most perfect setting for Hatti and Adam to make their heartfelt promises to each other surrounded by their loved ones. It was the most beautiful, personalised and meaningful ceremony and such an honour to be a part of their day and to share their wonderful love story.

Hatti and Adam, I hope you had the most wonderful time celebrating your 1st Anniversary and are still living your best lives as a family of three?

Sending love and hugs to you all. ❤

Wishing Vari and George and very happy 1st Anniversary❤
Memories of their beautiful wedding ceremony always make me smile, so full of love, warmth and laughter. Held at the charming Coltsford Mill Wedding Venue it was a relaxed and joyful celebration packed full of emotion.

We included a handfasting in their ceremony so Vari and George could physically tie the knot and seal their beautiful heartfelt promises forever, a very special moment.

It was also important to Vari and George that their guests felt included, so there was a warming of their wedding rings, where their rings were passed between their guests to warm them with their love and make a silent wish for Vari and George's future together. Then to set the tone for the rest of their celebrations, everyone was invited to join in a guest singalong of Is This Love? by Bob Marley, the energy in the room was incredible and everyone loved it.

Such a wonderful, personalised ceremony for two fantastic people and I absolutely loved creating their perfect script that was them to a tee.❤

A very Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary to Holly and James❤

They held their celebrations at the beautiful Botley Hill Barn and it was the most special of days. It was such an honour to work with these lovely two to create and deliver their beautiful personalised ceremony. They fully embraced the freedom that a celebrant ceremony brings and I worked with them to create a ceremony that completely reflected their personalities and also carried LOVE throughout.❤

Their love and the joining of their two families was symbolised by the lighting of a Unity Candle.❤

Their love for their gorgeous doggo, Fenn was acknowledged in him being the most perfect surprise ring bearer.❤🐾

Their love for each other was witnessed by all their families and friends by their most heart-felt and wonderful personal promises.❤

Their ceremony was them to a tee, just how it should be.❤

Have the best day celebrating Holly and James and keep living the dream!
Big hugs ❤ xx

Happy Friday! ❤️

I am fortunate to work with many couples from around the world who have chosen to hold their wedding in the UK for a number of different reasons.

Some couples, love the rich history and tradition offered in the UK, from majestic castles, to quaint villages nestled in rolling hills providing a picturesque backdrop for the perfect English country wedding and also the luxury of London’s finest hotels. There is a venue for every style of wedding.

Some couples have a family connection here and want to be able to share their special day with their loved ones.

With Spring around the corner, I am reminded of Kathryn and Desmond’s beautiful wedding which took place in the magnificent Old Library at the stunning a venue that is steeped in history. Kathryn and Desmond live in Boston and Desmond’s family and many of their friends made the long journey from America to join Kathryn’s English family and friends for a truly wonderful celebration. After the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés on the terrace in the beautiful Italian Gardens. Kathryn’s dress was absolutely stunning!

It was such a pleasure working with Kathryn and Desmond to create their perfect ceremony, they are the most wonderful couple and they chose a fantastic team of suppliers to bring their vision to life:-

Incorporating your faith into your ceremony ❤
This year I am working with a number of engaged couples who have a faith, no faith and mixed faith who wish to include religious elements into their ceremony. Some have no faith but simply want to acknowledge and respect the faith of their parents or grandparents.

For a number of reasons a couple may choose to not hold their wedding in a place of worship but still want to acknowledge faith, so their only option in England and Wales is to work with an independent celebrant. A registrar will not permit any form of religion to be included in a marriage ceremony, right down to an instrumental piece of music with a religious reference.

I will work with you to ensure your faith or spirituality are acknowledged and incorporated into your ceremony in a way that feels right for you. You can also hold your wedding ceremony anywhere at any time; in licensed and non-licensed venues, so you are able to choose a location that truly resonates with you.

You may wish to invite a family member who holds your faith to deliver a religious reading, poem or a prayer, or a member of your religious community to open and close your celebrant-led ceremony with a prayer or blessing.

My focus is always on my couple, it is not about my beliefs or views and I am very happy to deliver a religious reading should you wish. I trained to be an independent celebrant because it is important to me that couples have the choice to celebrate their union in a way that is meaningful to them.

Jen and Scott did just this, they held their ceremony is the most incredible setting at a place that holds a very special place in their hearts and Scott's Chrisitian faith was incorporated in a beautiful way. It was a real honour to write and deliver such a wonderful, heartfelt ceremony.❤

The Rose Unity Ceremony🌹
This is a beautiful way to include the special people in your lives in your ceremony. Traditionally it has been a way of showing gratitude and love for special ladies but I have also included all close family members to symbolise family unity.

During Dominique and Henil's wedding ceremony, they wanted let all the special ladies in their lives know that they were loved and appreciated. What better way to demonstrate this, than giving them each a gift of a rose; the symbol of love. 32 lovely ladies were invited to take part, their Mums, grandmothers, sisters, cousins, aunties and family friends lined the aisle and Dominique and Henil then presented them each with a rose. They then came up in pairs and placed their roses into a central unity vase. Dominique and Henil then exchanged their gift of a red rose to each other and placed them into the vase which now was the most beautiful representation of their two lives and two families united together.

It really was the most beautiful, memorable ceremony and the Bride and Groom received so many compliments from their guests which they were delighted to share with me "We were blown away by the amount of people that came up to us and said it was the best wedding they had witnessed" Which I was delighted to hear.

There are so many wonderful ways to involve your loved ones in your ceremony and as we are not restricted by time, we can really think outside the box! This ceremony lasted over an hour, but guests found it engaging and enjoyed every moment!

Who will present your wedding rings?❤️💍

Continuing with the subject of allocating important roles in your ceremony, when it comes to who will be given the special job of presenting your wedding rings, there are a many possibilities!

Often this job is given to one or more of the smaller guests as a ring bearer to either present during the exchange of rings, or handed to the Best Man when they reach the top of the aisle. The role of ring bearer has also been carried out perfectly by four legged friends, some on the lead often held by the Best Man and others (who the couple are confident have good recall and no chance of them running off into the distance) have been off the lead!

During Tash and Russ’ beautiful wedding ceremony which took place in the garden of their family home, this role was given Tash’s sisters who were also her Head Bridesmaids, it was such a special way to involve them.

There is no right or wrong, the beauty of a celebrant-led ceremony is we can chat through ideas, work out a plan and bring your vision to life.

Embrace the freedom of a celebrant ceremony and enjoy exploring the possibilities and the journey to your big day. Every ceremony is unique because every couple is unique!

Involving your loved ones in your ceremony ❤

Everyone invited to your wedding ceremony supports and celebrates your union so for them to not only be present, but also to participate can be very special. During our ceremony planning we discuss the various ways that guests and also your family members could have a role in your ceremony in a way that is meaningful.

To honour their love and the close bond they share with their families Ashleigh and Markus included their Mums and Markus’ sister in their modern handfasting ceremony. Both of their beautiful Mums were invited to place the ribbons over their Ashleigh and Markus’ wrists and then Markus’ sister delivered the beautiful reading The Blessing of the Hands. Ashleigh and Markus then made their heartfelt, personal vows handfasted and then “tied the knot” sealing their vows within the knot. So special.

To show their love and gratitude towards their families, at the end of the ceremony, Ashleigh and Markus then presented a set of ribbons to each of their Mums to remember this special day when their two families were joined. It was a beautiful and very emotional moment.💛💙🤍
