2025 couples, you’re getting married this year! 🍾✨

Bursting out of a cake is how we feel about entering this new year and we’re so ready and excited. Sharing some vintage inspiration from that we love - I’ve found a secret recipe (slide 2) that you’re going to want to send to your favourite person 🥹

A round up of some favourite, flowery moments from the year and a couple of Cornwall sunsets thrown in for good measure 💫🥹🫶🏻

What a year it has been - a very beautiful, flower filled one. We are so excited to continue growing and flowering. Lots of new venues in Cornwall, some I once dreamed of creating wedding flowers for, with the most incredible clients that feel like friends. We’ll be creating magic a little further afield too and the first destination wedding for Sophie Flowers!

More garden party weddings are on the horizon and it’s going to be a wild and whimsical 2025, in true SF style🧚✨

A wonderful afternoon at at Harlyn Bay for a festive wreath workshop 🐖🎄💫

Arriving with buckets full of British foliage, moss and dried flowers, we headed to the Old Dining Room to set-up. Our lovely guests arrived and we all enjoyed fizz and piggy bits around the fire as we all got to know each other.

I taught the Sophie Flowers technique to create a wildly seasonal wreath - from how to create a sturdy, moss structure to adding a full, green base and then securing the dried flowers and ribbons. It was such a fun afternoon and everyone had made the most beautifully wild, seasonally inspired wreaths to take home ✨

Such a special one and we definitely feel ready for Christmas! Thank you to .williams for the most perfect shots of this memorable workshop.

After a busy few weeks getting in the festive spirit with wreath workshops, private home decorating and finding our feet with the new studio space, I can’t believe Christmas is just around the corner! ✨

We have a very special home to decorate over the weekend and the studio will be open Thursday - Saturday for flower bunches and mistletoe bundles. I’m excited for these final few days of festivities in Cornwall 💫🫶🏼🏹

Amongst the wreath making we enjoyed favourite fizz from friends at , delicious snacks of brushettines, olives and my homemade tiramisu to finish. Polaroids printed to take home and the most wholesome memories of an incredible afternoon with giant wreaths made by everyone 🥹🎀

Staircase florals 🧚✨ ~ we’ve create a couple of festive staircase designs recently which reminded me of this beautiful day at freelancing for the brilliant .in.french.

Wildly romantic designs bursting with seasonal flowers, trailing vines and incredible scents 🫶🏼

Working alongside some amazing florists up and down the country is one of the wonderful things about this job. We can’t wait to do it all over again in some pretty spectacular locations, across Cornwall, the UK and even beyond for Sophie Flowers next year 🤭🏹🤍

Our 2025 diary is looking so beautiful and I’m beyond excited to be bringing the dreamiest of visions to life again next year. Garden party weddings galore 🥂✨

Currently packing for a long weekend in London (floral snips included) for a mixture of festive home decorating, exciting projects and site visits! After the snow we had yesterday in Cornwall and this upcoming trip filled with festivities, I think it’s safe to say Christmas has arrived!

We are headed to London in a couple of weeks time to create some festive magic and kick start the most wonderful time of the year, but before then there’s lots to do in Cornwall, planning and plotting for a fun filled couple of months 🎄♥️✨

This time of year there isn’t much flower creating but instead lots of proposal designing for our 2025 & 2026 couples. A great opportunity to look back at our previous wedding season 🤍

We have also just launched Christmas on the website! Festive home decoration and a couple of wreath workshops in Cornwall this time. I’m very excited for our plans until the end of the year, with some exciting projects coming up ✨

What I thought would be a slower, much calmer season has turned into a bit of a crazy one!

On an autumn’s day the sun shone through at for C + R’s wedding day. It always feels so special to be on the other side of a wedding as a guest but even more so when you get to do both - freelancing for the most talented florist and beautiful bride, Chloe - aka .in.french was a dream 🏹

As expected Chloe’s vision was spectacular, every stem had been so carefully considered and it was such a joy to help bring it all to life.

Hello! We are plotting and planning for next year’s weddings with more delicately wild and whimsy designs. Garden party weddings galore 🌸🥂

All the textures, wisps and wiggly stems in this romantic bridal bouquet over the summer providing inspiration for your upcoming design proposals 🫶🏼✨

To achieve our signature SF style, British grown flowers are essential and we are so excited for more to come, but this means the planning starts now to ensure we have our mitts on the best for you! For full transparency we have imported flowers on two occasions this year. I’m so proud of our journey to sustainability, it’s been a wild ride and so much fun. We have formed some really wonderful relationships with growers all over the country and next year is looking pretty beautiful flowering Cornwall and beyond! 🕊️

Earlier this year we had the absolute pleasure of flowering a private event where Tuscany met Cornwall 🍋

The brief was exactly that - using Cornish flowers and foliage to create designs with trailing tomato vines and lemon leaves inspired by the Italian countryside. Herbs dotted along the table planted in terracotta pots, murano inspired glassware and complementary scents to tie it altogether ✨

We are off to Tuscany in just a few days time so this day is particularly lovely to look back on. As we approach a new month and the flowers start to slow down, I’m reminded of the dream clients and extraordinary ideas we’ve brought to life 🫶🏼💫
