We also team up with other passionate producers to bring epic cheese tasting collaborations - check out our upcoming exciting events!🧀😋 Let us chat everything cheese in the comfort of your own home or venue. We bring it all to you! All you have to do is enjoy the finest selection of cheese that comes from the South

West! We can cater for any event including parties, work do's, retirement do's, birthdays, special occasions, weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, divorce parties and Hen and Stag do's. We offer bespoke tailor made tastings or below is a price guide. We will give you an amazing cheese tasting experience which includes the Cheese Queens presenting 6 incredible cheeses, homemade sourdough bread, local chutneys, crackers and accompaniments. Minimum of 4 - 20 people - £20pp

Marie has always had a passion for food (in particular cheese). Working at what was Combe House near Honiton she took chatting about the Westcountry Cheeseboard to another level - to the point where all of her colleagues would always give her the cheeseboard to explain to the customers. She was obviously always at the cheese tastings that the amazing Country Cheeses provided to Combe House. From there she tried her luck and asked if there were any jobs going to Gary and Elise Jungheim (the owners of Country Cheeses). Unfortunately there weren't at that time but they had a chat with her anyway and that was that for the moment. Marie decided her passion did lie with cheese so she went on to work at the fantastic Sharpham vineyard and dairy in Totnes serving cheese and doing wine tastings. Gary and Elise contacted Marie a few months later and offered her the dream job! Cheese shop manager in Totnes! Of course she took it and loved working for Gary and Elise at Country Cheeses. She had the most incredible opportunities and they drove to the Westcountry dairies and chatted with all of the outstanding Cheesemakers who make the awesome cheese you will have on your cheeseboards today. In December 2015 Marie fell pregnant......

In March 2016 Elise joined the team at Country Cheeses in Totnes. Having never been a cheese connoisseur she was trained to within an inch of her life by Marie and slowly but surely also fell deeply in love with all kinds of different cheeses (well, who wouldn't?) As soon as Marie met Elise she knew they were going to be great friends and also that she was the perfect person to take over as manager at the Totnes shop (even though she had just started....) This was meant to be! Poor Elise was hijacked by Marie and asked if she would be interested in being manager as she was pregnant (weeks after just starting). In hindsight probably Marie should have waited a bit longer before scaring the life out of Elise BUT Elise was up for it. Elise and Marie both rallied hard to make Country Cheeses WIN 1st place as cheese shop of the year at the Great British Cheese Awards in October 2016 collecting the award together in London. These days you will still find Elise managing the Cheese shop in Totnes, with a smile on her face and ready to chat all things cheese with any customer that walks in. Elise and Marie are firm friends and still have that passion for cheese. They wanted to create the most special and fun cheese experiences for you to enjoy so the idea for Cheese Queens was born...........

Anyone who knows us or has been to one of our tastings knows how much we put into making every cheese tasting experience unique and special🧀😋😍
One of our biggest rewards is when we are complimented on what we grow and make ourselves🏆😍 This makes all of the time and love we spend on our produce so worthy⌚😍
The biggest compliment is when people want to buy what we have made to compliment the most amazing cheese😍🧀😋this means the world😍🌍
Our homemade grape jam has to be one of the most asked for followed closely by our damson cheese, apple and cinnamon cheese, marinated figs and of course our sourdough bread🍇🍏🍎🧀🍞

Another absolutely amazing evening at The Wine Box 🤩🌃🍷We showcased the best British cheese, wonderful wines and all the accompaniments with a room full of perfect people enjoying the experience.
This was our third time in this fantastic venue and it was one of the best so far! Paul Firman and Jordan are equally as passionate about wine as we are about cheese - can't wait to go back!!🧀🍷😋

Having been lucky enough to go to France recently and eaten truly incredible food (especially the cheese) we've come back with an even bigger love (if that's even possible) for our incredible cheese🧀😍 We just need to showcase Charles Martell & Son Ltd and their delightful distillery again as it is truly remarkable and so similar to some of the French dairies we visited🧀🥃can't wait to go back again...

Just can't get enough of all of the amazing local French produce🇫🇷🧀🧄🧅🍞🍄‍🟫🥖🍇🍾
The revolutionary Roscoff (pink) Onions, marvellous Muscat grapes and of course the beautiful Bretagne cheese stood out and were out of this world😋🌍

Makes us very excited to get back to the Westcountry and get back involved with all of our fine local produce😋

What a special opportunity to visit a local cheesemaker who only opens their doors once a week Fromagerie de Brengoulou 🧀
We got the chance to taste all of their beautiful cheese. From fresh cheese with figs to harder cheese with fenugreek and cumin to the most incredible blue - absolute cheese wizards🧀
We came away with a semi hard, a fresh cheese with shallots and our absolute favourite a fresh cheese with figs😍😋🧀
They had already sold out of their milk and had a queue behind us which speaks volumes... So grateful for another epic cheese experience🧀😋

Lovely little market in Sizun where we met the loveliest ladies La ferme de Joséphine making and selling their stunning handmade goats cheese🐐🧀😍
We managed to snap up the last noisette covered fresh chevre cheese - oh wow one of the best we have ever had! It is so fresh and uber creamy and the gorgeous chopped nuts were the icing on the cheese🧀👌😍

Amazing cheesemakers like this are pure gold🧀🌟

We also went to another cheese seller on the market to buy a few Bretagne cheeses and one that caught our eye was a bright red cheese covered in red pepper - yum!😍

Dairy farmers are truly incredible people who really devote their life to it🥛🐄🐃🐂
This beautiful herd of 100 cows get milked once a day and the milk gets sent straight out for the locals to enjoy. We joined the queue straight after milking to get our bottle of the most fantastic freshest milk🥛These farmers rarely get any time off and are so dedicated to their life - it's truly remarkable.
What an experience!
