Time to meet another of our Spark Studio cast members and who else could serve as King Triton's advisor and "distinguished" court composer – none other than the crustacean with the Jamaican accent Sebastian, who is portrayed by Ella Jesson . Despite his esteemed position, Sebastian is regularly tasked with watching over Triton's youngest daughter, Princess Ariel and nearly to his peril when faced with Chef Louis – but does also have some of the funniest lines too !

Not long until our production, so we are pleased to share our lead cast ..... King Triton, portrayed by Joshua Monk, is a powerful ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantica, where he governs with his mystical trident that commands the ocean's depths. Seven daughters, including Ariel, his authority is often challenged by her desire for freedom, highlighting tension between family duty and her individual spirit.
But did you also know that his long lost sister is Ursula, portrayed by Anneliese Doggett, the villainous sea witch strikes deals with “poor unfortunate souls” with the promise of making their dreams come true, trying to advance her own ambitions and cause misery since being banished and exiled and vowed vengeance by harnessing the power of the king's trident and installing herself as ruler of all seven seas.

WOW it certainly looks like Ariel had a wonderful time exploring the human world in Brixham today ... Thank you to The Bay Coffee Company Rockfish Brixham Fonehouse Brixham. Our next cast introductions from The Spark Studio, Brixham..... Carlotta who is played by Charlotte is seemingly the castles primary housekeeper, kind, loyal and aid to Prince Eric. After he rescues Ariel from the beach and bringing her to the castle, she takes her under her wing and tries her best to comfort and look after her. Carlotta is also helped by her two little housemaids played by Isabelle & Crystal.

Attention, Attention !! Le menu pour ce soir Les Poissons .....

From the start, there was never anyone more perfect for the role of “Chef Louis” position, from the instant Sebb auditioned he had the ability to make us all laugh and smile and has kept doing so for every rehearsal …. Not quite sure about his culinary abilities and skills but boy he has kept our “Sebastian” on his toes (claws) running for his life or hiding under the table so he doesn’t end up being part of the lobster bisque … will we have to settle for some tuna tartare or escargot, oh “holy mackerel” I do truly hope so!

The Spark Studio, Brixham are very proud to present DIsney's The Little Mermaid Jr as their production this year.

So come see the Eels – "Flotsam & Jetsam" played by Sienna & Brooke at Palace Theatre in Paignton to discover the true mischievous nature of this duo. They might be lurking in the shadows, secretly observing Ariel for the evil Sea Queen, Ursula, but they also manage to bring plenty of laughter to the performance.

Will they manage to lure Ariel into Ursula’s lair or just get into a tangle with the tentacles and slither off when the going get tough as soon as King Triton arrives !!

Congratulations to all the Torbay PQA Poppets who were amazing in their showcase of Annie last weekend - it was fantastic being able to watch and do the costumes and props for you all :)

This week we were dazzled by the phenomenal cast of our jaw-dropping poppets show, Annie! 🌟 Unbelievable performance that left parents and family in awe! 🎭 🌟
