Today we are announcing the joint sponsorship of EGL Scotland's Winter ILD charity event by **ta_official, Elisabeth Ribbon (local Jfashion accessory brand) and Fàilte Bhlàth ❄️🎁

With both curated gift bags and JP brand raffle prizes for our attendees, this event will be the height of luxury with a "Grand Tour" theme, we will dine like nobility with an extravagant afternoon tea experience in an equally beautiful venue🍷🍾

The Grand Tour was primarily a 17th century to late Victorian tradition of travelling through Europe, with Italy as a key destination, undertaken by young European men of the upper classes 💼🗺️

We hope to raise funds to split between Lothian Cat Rescue and Loud and Proud - Scotland's first LGBT+ choir, these charities have been chosen by the organiser for their excellent work in both their local and wider community 🏳️‍🌈🐈

Fàilte Bhlàth are looking forward to sharing more after the event, we are keeping much of it a surprise for attendees 😉

We had 4 fabulous winners in our Halloween pub quiz due to a third place draw! Third place prizes were split between our winners. Here is an overview of our prizes 🎁 -

1st place - an iconic gothic rosette by local Scottish brand and a signed copy of Lockhart Mansion

2nd place - a spooky spider necklace by and a signed copy of Lockhart Mansion

Introducing D.H.Dhaenens otherwise known as Ducky from Flammable Penguins Publishing, part of the London EGL community and published author, Ducky is going to perform a guest reading to promote her latest book - Lockhart Mansion 🔒🖤🏚️

Lockhart mansion is a horror comedy novel that follows the story of three lo**ta friends as they start university and move in together, the catch? Their new home is a haunted house, will their friendship survive the supernatural encounters? 👻

We are delighted to bring Ducky's work into the spotlight at our Ghouling and Guising - Edinburgh event in October, top scores in our pub quiz can win their very own copy of Lockhart Mansion! (Among other prizes 😉)

One of our main goals as an organisation is to put a spotlight on local artists and creators within the jfashion community through our events.

As our first art collaboration project and first collaboration project in general, we wanted to share the process as much as possible with our audience and attendees 🎥

This artwork, revealed earlier this week, has been created for our first flagship event Ghouling and Guising: Edinburgh and this video covers the art process, discussing the event and a little bit about the artist Lou Graves - Gravelvet as he sketches out and paints in all the small details 🎨

All attendees at the Ghouling and Guising: Edinburgh event will receive a print of this artwork as a memento of the evening 🦇

Fàilte Bhlàth invites you to be our Valentine and attend our dreamy tea party at the Black Ivy Hotel in Edinburgh! The afternoon will include a delightful afternoon tea, followed by a game of bingo where you can win some first-class prizes before leaving with a bag of enchanting treats! 💜
