Well hello there 👋🏻☺️ long time no speak!

As some of you might have noticed I haven’t posted on my social media pages in far too long and this has purely been because life has just been a bit…well…bonkers busy really!!

Anyway I felt it was important to log in today as I have a little announcement!

The time has come to store away my trusty folder for a while as I’m going to be taking a break from my Celebrant life to concentrate on my little family and my full time career.

But before I say cheerio for now I wanted to say I have loved every single second of being a Celebrant and I genuinely have had so much fun being a part of all of my couples journeys to their wedding day!
So a heartfelt massive thank you to every wonderful couple I have had the honour of pronouncing as married! 🫶 you are all ace!

So it’s not goodbye it’s toodaloo for now!

Mr and Mrs Reid❤️ What a special day I had conducting Shaina and Max’s wonderful ceremony earlier this month! A ceremony filled love and laughter as they celebrated with their closest friends and family, including poignant and personal tributes to those loved ones who could not be there with them❤️ Shaina smiled from the moment she walked down the aisle and her smile shone throughout! Congratulations again to the happy couple!

Mr and Mrs McKinnes 🥰 on Friday the 14th of October I was honoured to conduct the marriage of one of my closest friends lovely little sister! Rosie and Robert held their beautiful day and they filled their ceremony with one of my favourite readings, The Giraffe and the Monkey by Daniel Thompson. After tying the knot during their handfasting and signing their schedule, they filled their quaich with Baileys and Rosie did a sterling job of ensuring that every last drop was gone!! 😄 A joy to have been a small part of their day!

Mr and Mrs Hill ❤️ K&J had their wonderful day last month in Chambers East in Dundee surrounded by their closest family and friends. They lit their marriage candle and sipped a gin and lemonade from their quaich before heading across the road to the iconic Mc Manus Galleries steps for a group photo.

Huge congratulations to the Fairfield’s who I had the joy of marrying last month at the incredible The fab pair finally got to say their I Do’s after covid played havoc with their original dates and it was heartwarming to deliver them the wonderful news that they were now officially Husband and Wife ❤️

On the 7th of September I had the honour of conducting the fabulous Nicola and Craig’s very special day at the incredible
The sun came out for these two as we celebrated their love story by lighting candles and telling some of their tale so far!
A super lovely day for this gorgeous pair! Congratulations to the newlyweds! 🥂

Amy and Rory!! ❤️ what a wonderful day the new Mr and Mrs Cullens had at the incredible earlier this month.
Their guests were treated to the most gorgeous sounds of the harp, creating the most atmospheric entrance for Amy. Their ceremony was filled with love as we had two readings by their bridesmaids and I had the honour of sharing some of their love story! Thank you again to the loveliest newlyweds❤️

This lovely couple had a fabulous day with their family and friends, where I had the honour of sharing their story, and after signing their schedule, they completed their ceremony by sipping their favourite Tequila Rose tipple from their quaich!

W O W is all I really can say about the simply jaw dropping setting that was for Craig and Gemma’s special day and it was such a fun day! Gemma’s school kids had shared their thoughts on love and marriage and I had the honour of delivering their responses to the guests and how magical and insightful they were! I especially liked their response to What Should married couples do? DANCE and go on HOLIDAYS 💃🏼🏖 I think we should all subscribe to that outlook on life! Congratulations again to Mr and Mrs Gunderson!

When your lovely July brides send you some of their official photos!! Introducing Mrs and Mrs Duncan who had a gorgeous, intimate outdoor ceremony in Dundee. These happy brides crafted their perfect ceremony where after using pink ribbons to tie the knot, they completed their ceremony with a fun sand ceremony where alongside their children, their parents blended their different coloured sands to symbolise the blending of their family.

What a happy day yesterday was as I got to conduct my first wedding for the brilliant Steph and Ben! A ceremony filled with beautiful personal touches, where the couples handsome dog executed his ring-bearing duties with perfect precision and their gorgeous daughter and flower girl twirled and swished up and down the aisle! This happy couple did not stop smiling!
It was a delight to witness their personal vows to each other and to finally pronounce them as husband and wife!

Mr and Mrs Fyfe 😍

On Thursday I took a trip down to Dunbar to the stunning to conduct S and A’s beautiful outdoor ceremony and it was filled with lots of lovely sentiments. They had their close friends deliver readings and their dads toasted their newly married status by assisting them with drinking some whisky from their quaich!
The fabulous was perfectly capturing the day. Another joyful day and congratulations to the happy couple ❤️

Mr and Mrs Patullo 🎉😍 on Saturday the 9th of July I had a fabulous day conducting J&L’s summery stunning wedding ceremony at the incredible which was decorated so beautifully and I adored all of the little touches which the couple had thought of! These two met at work and as their eyes met across the staff room their love story began! It was a complete joy to have been asked to be a part of their special day!

What a scorcher 🌞of a day Mr and Mrs Kerr had on Saturday for their wedding day!!
This delightful pair FINALLY had their special day 4th time around, due to the pandemic and it was emotional 🥲

It was such a gorgeous moment when they saw each other at the top of the aisle and there were definitely happy tears being shed!

They lit a special candle to remember their loved ones and after sharing some of their adventures I was overjoyed to unite this happy pair as Mr and Mrs Kerr!
