We are holding a Coffee Morning in the Abbey tomorrow, Thursday 28th September,10.30am, with all proceeds going to MacMillan Cancer Support. Tickets are available at the door, and for a mere £5 you can enjoyed freshly brewed coffee and delicious home baking, as well as supporting a worthwhile and very needed service. 📣 New Concert Alert! Saint-Saëns’s mighty ‘Organ Symphony’ in the magnificent setting of Paisley Abbey.

Join the orchestra and conductor Martyn Brabbins on Friday 10 November for a truly uplifting concert that brings together three of Scotland’s most celebrated choirs for a selection of stirring, celebratory music by composers including Parry, Walton and Patrick Doyle.

This concert, including a performance of Saint-Saëns’s rousing Organ Symphony, celebrates the work of Glasgow-born Dr George McPhee, a stalwart supporter of the instrument who has contributed immensely to Paisley Abbey’s musical life for 60 years as organist and Director of Music.

Lunch Hour Concert Saturday 23rd September 12.30pm with Alastair Savage, Gregor Blamey and Ewan Robertson. The concert will open with a series of melodies highlighting the contrasting emotions of the fiddle tunes that Robert Burns used for his songs. A wonderful mix of laments, jigs and reels. Tickets £5 at the door. Our Cloister Café will also be open for freshly brewed coffee and indulgent cakes.

Calling all Paisley Abbey Choir members – past and present. This year sees 60 glorious years of George McPhee as Director of Music and Organist at Paisley Abbey. To mark this incredible milestone, the Abbey is holding an evening of celebration on 29th October with food and wine, music and song. The sound is like no other from these outstanding musicians. Your spine will tingle and your breath will be taken away. This is an experience not to be missed. We are open on Saturday 2nd September from 10.30am - 4pm for this years Doors Open Day. The Gift Shop will be open and the Café will be serving tea and coffee as well as a selection of home baking. Plant and Bric a Brac stalls will be in the Cloisters, and we will have the tower open for those who wish to brave the climb to the top!!
