Happy Mondays folks! Hectic wee weekend there..
Finger foods, canapé..
Non vegan this, vegan that..
Highlights for me the whipped feta, Parma ham, fresh oregano, mint, heirloom tomato oatcake canape..thanks and the deconstructed cheesecake canape with roasted nectarine, crowdie cheese and amaretti crumb…mind you the wraps, sirloin pintox canapé, chorizo skewer weren’t too shabby either😊

Interesting fact..mutton pies can be warmed on a bbq!😊
Bbq clams are the way to go..add in homous, Tabouleh etc…😋

The week started with a down memory lane breakfast stack..in 2003 these were on the menu at redss espresso bar in Paisleys east end and now all the rage everywhere!😊
Rest of week it was the usual eclectic redss food malarkey, vegan this, non vegan that, but the colours and the flavours hitting the spot! Happy weekend peeps!

Before and after for nan bread pizza..
Make this at home..passata, crushed garlic, mango chutney nan bread base then top with whatever veggies you fancy..add a sprinkle of garam massala, very thin sticks of fresh ginger, grated paneer cheese and a sprinkle of mature cheddar, fresh coriander and chilli..it’s a winner👍😋

A vegan avocado, asparagus, pomegranate, combo with a fresh lime, mint and pomegranate dressing, bish bash bosh tasty nosh..😋
Salad2, a classy hot smoked salmon number (enkilnhouse in Fife) with shrimp, mixed leaf, capers, lemon, Arran mustard honey dressing..hit the spot👍

Yes it’s coming…only 73 days apparently…So here’s a thing…Chicken goujon, chorizo in blanket..just swap the sausage for chicken..cut a thin strip of chorizo same length as goujon and wrap in smoked bacon..
Telling you that worked a treat👍😋 Works vegan style too..

Rare roast rump of lamb on buttered cabbage, pak choi, honeyed roast carrot, parsnips with oregano, parsley potato, garlic roast potato, roasted thyme Rosemary courgette, mint pistachio pesto, lamb juice redcurrant and mustard gravy..

So Glasgow School of Art hosted an international conference for overseas partners at Mackintosh Queens Cross church…the only church to be designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
