The playing field car park will be closed from 7am on Wednesday 11th September till tea time Thursday 12th September for resurfacing works. The play area will remain open. Please be courteous when parking in the surrounding area.

Is there really nothing that can be done about one guy and his two dogs, on the field everyday letting them foul, where over 100 children play football every week? This is his latest offering x2
East Riding council know who he is and have sent letters, he clearly doesn’t give as much sh*t as his dogs do!!

We seem to having a lot of damage done to the play park recently, also rubbish left weeds thrown all over the place, its looking a mess. The way its going we might have to close it for safety until it can all be repaired. Tonight the gate was repaired at 6pm and broken again by 8.30pm.

We've noticed a higher then normal amount of dog walkers on the field, also an increase in dog mess. Also dogs in the playpark which is a criminal offence. Please report if seen.

To improve the playing area and in preparation for the new football season we have removed the goals and reseeded the goalmouths on the pitch nearest the car park. Please be mindful of the area and careful near the holes. The other pitch can be used. Thank you.

Patrington Playing Fields, Recreation Club and Village Hall AGM is to be held in the village hall on Wednesday 27th July @ 7.30pm.

If your interested in anything that goes on at any of the 3 venues, whether its the trouble we've had at the playing field recently, the ongoing updating of the recreation club or the general running/hiring of the village hall please come along. All welcome.

We also have budding artists living among us, if your child came home recently with marker pen all over them please send them back with a cloth!!

Many people use the dug outs, not only for football, but a rest when out walking, meeting up etc. Be a real shame to have to have them removed.

If anyone has any information about a blue Jeep style vehicle doing donuts and wheel spins etc on our pitches please let us know. This happened this evening around 7.30pm. The vehicle was seen leaving the pitch at the bottom corner then driving onto Salt marsh. Police have been informed.

Not something you want to see in a morning!!

This textile bin has raised nearly £250 for the playing field so far, helping to pay for the fantastic artwork on the basket ball area and wall.
