Mannin Cancers Famous Red Ball tonight was an absolute blast! Just a quick sample of the nights antics with Rule The World helping Manx Breast Cancer Support Group and Mannin Cancers Support Group raise over £27,000 for their brand new cancer support centre which is well underway now!

Our Story

Whatever event it is you’re planning, I appreciate it needs to be right – you only get one chance to make that happen. Therefore, it is vital you find someone who is as invested in their work and your celebration as you are. It’s paramount that it’s someone that you can work well with and who has a high level of professionalism.

My love of music and fun set me on the path to becoming a DJ and Radio presenter, all the way back when I was just a teenager and played a few songs at a friend’s party on a ghetto blaster!

Having bought some basic equipment I first found work as a DJ at the age of just 16 through an entertainment agency in Manchester. Alongside college where I was studying Lighting and Sound Design, I was working at some of the North West’s most prestigious venues, primarily hosting weddings and corporate events, the most memorable of which was for Kleeneze where over 2000 of their staff packed the ICC in Birmingham – a night I will never forget. After college I decided to follow my interest of being a radio presenter, working on numerous community stations and eventually attending the National Broadcasting School in 2008. From there I worked at Key 103 in Manchester (the very station I grew up listening to!), before venturing across the water to the lovely Isle of Man, an Island I knew very little about! I took to the Manx airwaves as Breakfast Presenter at Energy FM, and after a station change have now come full circle 10 years later to present the 3FM Breakfast Show. As a newbie on the Isle of Man I realised there was a demand for high quality DJ entertainment, so Matt Fletcher Entertainment and Events, the company I thought had left behind in Manchester began once more and soon the diary was filling up fast!

Over the years we have expanded to include venue décor and theme nights alongside my DJ Services. It’s a bold statement but I am the most in demand Wedding DJ on the Island – currently booking events up to two years in advance! I have won the My Manx Wedding award for Best Entertainment – DJ, two years running, something I am very proud of. I also work with some of the Islands biggest companies, be that as event host or DJ or by creating out of this world theme nights, and over the years there have been many! We’ve taken guests into a Winter Wonderland, up the red carpet to a night at the Oscars, in to the world of Game Of Thrones and through the wardrobe to Narnia!
