The more weddings I shoot, the more I realise that it really is all about the people – YOUR people.

Obviously the weather, food and wine play their part, but ultimately it's about the two of you celebrating your relationship with the people closest to you.

Mali and Dominic had the most perfect and magical day at the glorious Gellifawr Woodland Retreat (one of my fav venues for sure!) – despite the rain. Just look at these happy faces!

More and more I'm realising that weddings are not just the couple's day, but also the day of everyone who attends. It really is a magical coming together, a true celebration of love, family and friendship.

I feel so incredibly privileged to be part of these special occasions, and even more so to be treated as part of the family. Alex and Matt, thank you to you both and all of your wonderful guests for making me feel so welcome. I loved every single second and can't quite believe I get to do this for my "job" (though it really is so much more than a job to me).

Lauren and Luke had a gorgeous church wedding followed by an epic rural reception at their farm in Pembrokeshire, west Wales.

There were kids playing cricket and jumping off tractors. And reunions among old friends and family who had been kept apart by c*v*d for far too long.

I felt fortunate to be in attendance and to tell the story of their day in all its glory. I think farm weddings might just be my new favourite!

I’m excited that you’ll be able to relive your day - from the nervous excitement of the morning preparations at Lamphey Court Spa] to the official “I do” moments at Pembroke Castle], and of course those brilliant speeches. You all spoke so eloquently and graciously about each other, and about your family members who could not be present due to Covid-related travel restrictions. The fact that they will be able to watch your wedding film back and experience the day in a different way has really inspired me during the editing stage. I’ve worked in as much detail as possible, and been careful to include every single word.

Thank you both for putting your faith in me to document your day. I know it was for your family more so than yourselves, but I have a feeling you’ll love reliving the day, and better remembering those moments that pass by in a blur.
