Sweet peony turns 11!!!!

After a whirlwind start to the year with opening a new shop.. Sweet Peony turns 11 today and I very nearly forgot the massive milestone.

I never say it, but I'm Incredibly proud of what I've achieved over the past decade with my business. Having taken the huge leap with the new shop on Newport road Cardiff, things are going from strength to strength.

With a steady stream of regulars already, lovely neighbours and a great sense of community in the area, which I very much feel a part of, I'm very excited to see what's to come.

I cannot wait to share what I have got planned over the next few months and hope you will continue to share recommend and order from here.

As always a HUGE thank you to each and every customer that comes through the door and likes each post, allowing me to live out my dream of owning a flower shop... How lucky am I!?!

STORY TIME....
9 years ago we did a wedding for a beautiful bride and her love. She was the sweetest loveliest lady and their day has always been a favourite of mine because of how wonderful she was to work with.

Every year since then her husband has ordered a large bouquet made with their wedding flowers.... without fail!

I love doing the bouquet and each year it brings a smile to my face delivering it to their home. Which I've seen them create over the years, while adding little ones to their family. I always deliver it myself for this reason. We don't even deliver to that area usually, but I love the little tradition this has become for us, as well as them and hope to continue to do so for years to come.

This job allows us to be a part of some of the most important milestones in people's lives in such a lovely way. Everyday we share the love people have for each other through flowers.
So go share the love with your special ones this weekend..

Well be offering our 'Delivery at a distance' and 'click and collect' services. ALL items must be paid for before arrival at the shop to limit the close contact using the card machine. Get your orders slots are filling up fast.

Today I am celebrating reaching an amazing milestone.. 5YEARS of Sweet peony. I am so overwhelmed that my little shop on the bridge has made it this far. I have so many people to thank who have helped me along the way. My family who are always there to push me forward when I'm just too tired. My friends who I share a bottle of bubbles with when I survive another huge mother's day or Valentine's. And my handsome man.. Chris, who has given foot rubs, done deliveries swept floors wiped away tears, mostly happy but some sad, with his support I can do what I love.
LASTLY but MOST important of all,my wonderful customers who allow me to be apart of their lives special moments. I treasure everyone single of you. THANK YOU!!!!! 😘
