Tân is hosting an exclusive pop-up at Foxy’s Deli in Penarth this October!

For one weekend only, come and experience an autumnal Middle Eastern inspired menu of small plates based around open-fire cooking and stunning local Welsh produce.

Foxy’s Deli has been the hub of Penarth community for over 17 years, and is the perfect cosy venue to enjoy a hearty meal using simple, sustainable ingredients with hot coals and a passion for big flavours.

Expect signature dishes such as Welsh Lamb Shawarma with mint chimmichurri, Burnt Leeks and Pembrokeshire Potatoes as well as plates inspired by trips around the Welsh countryside including ‘Aberganoush’ - a take on a classic Middle Eastern dip.

We’ll have the BBQ set up outside the Deli so you can watch your dinner be cooked live before arriving at your table!

Join us for the ultimate feast championing Welsh produce with a lick of fire.

Friday 11th October & Saturday 12th October
Tables are limited so we advise you to book early to avoid disappointment! We’re offering two sittings, 5 pm & 8 pm. We’re taking a £10 deposit per guest which will be taken off your bill on the night. Select your table and join us for a feast!

Passing by? We’ll also have a hand-held grab and go offering available for those looking for a quick bite to eat!

Good to catch up with Foxy's Deli owner Sian over coffee in one of the parklets yesterday.

Surprised and disappointed that Vale of Glamorgan Council are planning to remove the parklets from our town centre. They are an inspiring use of public space and a much loved and well used community asset.

The parklets also play an important role in the local economy, providing opportunities for the local independent businesses that are so vital to Penarth.

In addition they provide invaluable social space to those with health vulnerabilities.

Time for the Council to reconsider.

Twilight in Penarth

I used to live in Penarth, and find it an interesting town by the sea, with lovely shopping, eclectic coffee shops, parks, and of course the wonderful pier. I am also fascinated by the wonderful lamps in Britain and beyond, their history, and intricate designs. Hence this lovely lamp, taken from its neighbours, to stand proud and alone, but with the outline of the pier behind to illustrate its context of Penarth.
