We’re thrilled to announce that St Mary’s Youth Theatre (SMYT) is the latest winner of our £200 Community Event Fund Prize Draw!

SMYT is a fantastic charity helping young people (8-18) gain confidence, make lifelong friends, and develop a love for theatre—especially musical theatre! 🎶💃

Last year, they celebrated their 30th anniversary by inviting past members (some now parents of current SMYT stars!) to form a choir for a special celebration concert. They loved it so much that they’ve kept the magic alive—reuniting to perform concerts that raise funds for SMYT and other charities. Their first concert in February will support Leeds Mind. 💙

We’re excited to share that our annual community event fund competition has been revamped into a monthly prize draw—giving everyone a fair shot all year long!
Each month, we’ll select an event organiser at random (i.e., all active event organisers for that month) to receive £200 in funding. No matter the size of your event, you’re in the running!

You do not need to do anything to enter. Having an active event in the month of question automatically adds you to the prize draw.

We’ve been cooking up a couple of brand-new features to make your ticketing experience even smoother.

Time Slot View
Perfect for ice-skating extravaganzas, ongoing exhibitions, multi-week shows—essentially anything running across multiple days or times. With our shiny new view, customers choose a date first, then pick from the available slots on that date. Events are grouped by name and venue, so even if you split your event into weekly runs, it’ll still look like one delightful event on the shop front. Less confusion, more happy customers—win-win!

Ticket Availability Indicators
Sure, you can still show the exact number of tickets up for grabs. But if you’re feeling fancy, let our new traffic-light system do the talking instead. Set your own threshold for when “Good Availability” becomes “Limited Availability” (thanks to our handy slider), and let customers know just how quickly they need to snag those last few seats.
