......to The Copper Kettle Vintage Tearoom!
My name is Michelle Gray and together with my husband, Duncan, we moved to Thurgoland from Cambridgeshire back in 2017 to establish a tearoom within the village post office. In the tearoom, we offer hot and cold drinks and provide a range of savoury items, including hot and cold sandwiches, jacket potatoes, soup and Pukka Pies on a Wednesday. In addition, you will always find a lovely selection of cakes, scones, confectionery and sweets to help deal with any attacks of the munchies! Cream teas are always on offer and traditional afternoon teas can be booked in advance. Sadly, since taking over the business, we have been the victims of 3 attempted robberies, including one at knifepoint, which resulted in us closing the post office counter in November 2019. But, the tearoom is still running and we have a lovely outside seating area for when the weather is fine.
