Dream Wedding: All our meals were catered by Lynn Hilditch and her food was absolutely delicious and delighted our guests. Lynn's portions were so generous we had more leftovers than we could possibly eat up before it was time to leave.

A special thanks goes to Lynn Hilditch who is recommended by The Rowley Estate and provided us with the most delicious food. We had a ‘drop-off’ meal on the Friday evening, a full English breakfast on Saturday morning, canapés on the lawn after our wedding ceremony, a 2-course wedding breakfast and then pizzas on Saturday evening. The food and service from Lynn and her staff was perfect. We would highly recommend Lynn when staying at Blencowe Hall (or any of the other Rowley Estate properties). We had many complements from guests about the food and Lynn was able to cater for the various dietary requirements that our guests had.

Lynn Hilditch catering was the perfect choice for our 40th birthday celebrations at Melmerby Hall in May. Lynn's food was beautifully presented, made with the finest local Cumbrian produce and meats and tasted phenomenal. The Lamb Shank roasted in ale was a huge highlight. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lynn to friends and would certainly book again for future events. Simply superb food and great value also.

The catering for the wedding was fulfilled by Lynn Hilditch and was absolutely exceptional, the dining room would go completely quiet with each course served. The whole wedding party was in agreement that it was some of the best food they had ever eaten, especially the pork which had been cooking since 4 am! I couldn’t recommend Lynn highly enough, she really helped make the weekend and was very personable to match.

We now have our own mobile wood fired pizza oven. I make my own pizza dough, tomato sauce and garlic butter and provide a large selection of toppings for you to choose from. Once assembled you can then watch your pizza being cooked by our pizza chef in minutes.

“30th Birthday Heaven”
I had my birthday dinner catered for by Lynn Hilditch, who is recommended on the Hall website. Lynn was absolutely exceptional - providing an astounding six course 1930s themed dinner, simultaneously allowing for vegetarian and vegan guests. The best beef wellington I will ever taste, as well as home-grown veg and regional produce every step of the way. We were awestruck, and very grateful!

The incredible Lynn Hilditch - Blencowe Hall
"I am so pleased that I booked Blencowe Hall and Riverain 15 months in advance just on reading reviews and seeing the photos on the website otherwise I wouldn't now have such wonderful memories of my 50th birthday weekend.
My main contact was with the incredible Lyn Hilditch and her team of culinary experts regarding catering over the weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for her ( I did have a couple of fussy guests!) and she delivered beautiful food on the night of our arrival including the best sticky toffee pudding I have ever eaten.

Blencowe Hall - "Our perfect country castle!”
