What an incredible year it’s been. I’ve absolutely loved creating wedding flowers for so many beautiful couples in 2024. Every bouquet, centrepiece, and floral installation has been a labour of love, tailored to each unique love story. Seeing people’s faces light up when they see their flowers gives me such joy.

Well that was the perfect way to spend Black Friday. A room filled with the scent of festive foliages, guiding and supporting folk to make their own beautiful Christmas wreath.All individual and different, reflecting their own creative preferences. I’ve been Captain Procrastination over Instagram posting over the last few weeks, just feeling a bit overwhelmed by it as we all do sometimes. Anyway, I’ve given myself a talking to, and am kickstarting things with details of my Christmas Wreath workshop details. I’m really looking forward to these, it’s always great fun, in a relaxed and chatty kind of way, definitely suitable for beginners or those with experience.
This year they are being held at Ghyll Barn, Long Marton, a beautiful wedding and events venue, there are 2 classes both on Friday 29th November. With the start of wedding season (hooorayyy!) comes buttonhole making 😂. A job where prepping is everything......hand wired and taped 8 roses, 6 spray roses, 6 buds and 24 Eucalyptus leaves, patience and precision is key, 💕
