“My family have just returned home following a 3 night stay at Calthwaite Hall lodges. We stayed in the Coach house, of which was beautiful and very spacious for our family.
We made the most of the Hot tub, of which was a good size and very clean.
The grounds around the Hall itself are beautiful, even at this time of year.
We also had a couple of drinks in the Globe Inn of which is directly opposite the lodge entrance and it is a lovely country pub, with great food, ales and very professional and friendly staff. we met the owner of the Grove and site and he is very hospitable and also very professional.
He welcomed us, as well as all other staff on site and took care of all of our needs.
We most definitely give our stay 5 stars and we will return.
Thank you to all and see you again in the near future.”

With Christmas Eve just round the corner The Globe team would like to give you some updates…

We are very busy on Christmas Eve so booking is essential!

We know a lot enjoy the Chris cringle service however all coming to the pub after can some times be a challenge, we cannot promise anyone a table as most are reserved for eaters due to them being the main priority, saying this the restaurant is also not for drinkers.

Please respect these requests as we try to make sure everyone has a jolly Christmas Eve.
