It’s half term so I’m working both from home and the flower studio. (It’s so much warmer too!!)
Deliveries are available Monday to Friday. I’m on email and the phone Monday thorough to Wednesday - in the shop on Wednesday (doing a flower club demonstration on Wednesday evening) Thursday and Friday prearranged deliveries only. Saturday I’m teaching so won’t be able o respond to any calls or messages. but don’t worry next week is back to normal !!!! (Fingers crossed for minimal road works!!!!)

Valentine’s flowers- it’s not too late to order. I’ll be out delivering from 8am - so if you want a delivery slot you’ll have to get it in before 4pm today . The fabulous Jo will also be in the shop tomorrow from 9am. Orders can be placed super easily online or you can always give me a ring …….. come down and check out the entrance!!! They’ve been researching for years but at 10.00am today the dream became a reality with the announcement that OASIS® Floral Products (UK) had developed a plant-based alternative to classic foam. Called OASIS® Renewal™ Floral Foam it has already received the highest available certification - a 4-star OK biobased certification from TÜV Austria.

Announcing the launch with a team of top florists who have been working with the product, Robin Kilbride President and CEO of Smithers-Oasis, said “Our global Research team has been pursuing this project for many, many years because just being a plant-based product wasn’t enough. We needed this to deliver the look, feel, and performance that florists have come to trust in our petroleum-based OASIS® Floral Foams. At last, we have achieved it!”

We are open!!!! The guys are working on the on the road, putting in pavements and will be out there until mid February - at the moment there is a gap where you can access the yard.

For those of you that receive newsletters regarding workshops. The Autumn newsletter has just been released. (It’s been a while in the making but this season is a minefield to negotiate with school plays, dance shows and exams!) I’ll be posting general workshop dates on the website Monday. But the monthly creative class resumes this week - join me either Wednesday or Thursday morning to create a Halloween design - the theme is Pumpkins! - create in a pumpkin or using pumpkins - time to get creative!!!

Chrysanthemum - it’s a bit of marmite, but. Nothing says autumn any more than a bloom Chrysanthemum.
Love the colours of Fuego - pop a cluster in a vase or mix them up in a bouquet with other seasonal colours. This bouquet is ready to go!!!
