The wreath table. Organisation is in full swing to create some magic!!! (More details to follow!!! ) - this week I’ll be working out of the wreath barn again but I’ll be in the studio for the wonderful classes on Thursday, Friday and throughout the weekend (there’s still some spaces on the classes in Studio, penrith.) book your place to learn how to create something gorgeous for your door with professional tips and techniques

Some quick (rough ) sketches of inspiration for our creative class on Wednesday 20th November - 10am - 12noon in the flower studio penrith (wrap up warm!!!) this months theme is a hanging design - using materials to show off their textures and their shape - so keeping it simple and uncluttered. For those of you that receive newsletters regarding workshops. The Autumn newsletter has just been released. (It’s been a while in the making but this season is a minefield to negotiate with school plays, dance shows and exams!) I’ll be posting general workshop dates on the website Monday. But the monthly creative class resumes this week - join me either Wednesday or Thursday morning to create a Halloween design - the theme is Pumpkins! - create in a pumpkin or using pumpkins - time to get creative!!!

Paddington is showing at our our amazing local cinema this weekend. Who doesn’t like a mischievous bear from outer Peru???

If you head into town this weekend,
You're in for fun, come what may!
For Paddington Bear, is munching his sandwich,
Spread in yummy Dalemain marmalade, just ahead.

But that's not all, there's more to see,
Paddington fever's spreading in Penrith, you see!
A little stroll down the way to the Alhambra,
Will lead to bear-filled screens today.

Paddington 1 and Paddington 2,
Both are waiting just for you!
So snap a pic with the bear,
Sitting so sweet on the town council seat,
Then down Middlegate, move your feet.

Grab a drink, some popcorn too,
And sit back for the films, not one, but two!
Join the fun, it’s quite the affair,
A weekend of joy with Paddington Bear!

Chrysanthemum - it’s a bit of marmite, but. Nothing says autumn any more than a bloom Chrysanthemum.
Love the colours of Fuego - pop a cluster in a vase or mix them up in a bouquet with other seasonal colours. This bouquet is ready to go!!!

News!!!! So I ummed and arrrrd about entering the ‘lazy days of summer’ photographic competition by the through all of summer - then as the deadline loomed (and on my busiest week for weddings) I decided to take one of the many designs I had mulled around in my head and create it. Today an email landed to say I’ve won a bronze award! Thank you for the award - and for the valuable feedback.

As autumn creeps in there’s a subtle shift in colours in the Flower Studio - but I’m not quite ready to let go of summer just yet (no matter what the weather does!!! ) open all week in The Studio 9.30am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday. Saturday deliveries only.

A wonderful evening at Brewery arts centre. A celebration of amazing talent- 3 short films set in Cumbria by people from Cumbria (plus a couple of bonus music videos.) well done to all involved, yo skills, dedication and hard work absolutely shone.
