📣 Lady Nade plus support from Viva Valentine at the AMATA Arts Centre on Wednesday 16 October!

Described as the “Rising star of the Americana scene,” Lady Nade's music is an eclectic mix of folk, americana, soul, jazz, blues, and roots.

Don't miss this opportunity to hear one of the UK's most most unique and distinctive voices: Lady Nade's poignant song-writing and rich, velveteen vocals offer a soothing serenity.

Supported by Viva Valentine (AKA Mog Jones), whose raw, powerful vocals with country twang and glam rock sensibility pulls influence from the likes of David Bowie, Dolly Parton and Stevie Nicks.

We're delighted to welcome the University of Chichester's performance company, mapdance, back to the AMATA Arts Centre this Saturday 2 March .

Bringing together 14 dancers, three newly commissioned dance works and a restaging of Sarah Golding’s STATE from 2022 – join us for an unmissable evening of dynamic, theatrical and beautifully crafted work by both established and emerging contemporary dance choreographers.

Carrie Whitaker’s Thought in the Dark grapples with the untamed spirit of individuality and personal evolution. Sarah Golding’s STATE is rooted in the relationship between music and dance, Renaud Wiser’s Dear Body is a celebration of the body and ode to its animalistic form, its pride, fragilities and expressiveness, and Yukiko Masui’s For Seasons is a contemporary take on Vivaldi, celebrating the seasons with a global music palette.

On 2nd December, join us for FitkinWall's Harpland coming to the AMATA Arts Centre as part of their Autumn tour.

In this new show, internationally renowned harp and electronics duo FitkinWall follow threads of migration, loss and longing. Ruth Wall’s explorations into Gaelic song, fiddle and pipe tunes and the history of the Scottish Highlands where she grew up have a particular focus on migration and the Highland Clearances. Graham Fitkin has created enigmatic and mesmerising new versions of these tunes for Ruth’s three harps - the sitar-like Renaissance bray harp, the beautiful medieval Gaelic wire harp (clàrsach) and the Scottish lever harp. The performance will feature a light installation by acclaimed light artist Peter Freeman.
