Penryn Town Hall is a wedding venue in one of Cornwall’s oldest towns, available for civil wedding The clock tower was added in 1839.

Penryn Town Hall is now an approved premises as a venue for marriages under the Marriage Act 1949 and as a venue for Civil Partnership, Act 2004. In addition, other civil ceremonies such as naming ceremonies and the renewal of civil marriage vows are also welcome in the Town Hall. Penryn is one of Cornwall’s oldest towns, receiving its first charter in 1236. The beautiful granite Town Hall was ori

ginally known as the Market House and is situated in the centre of Penryn. It is thought that some of the stone from the historic ecclesiastical Glasney College was used in its construction. The main hall is now available for weddings seating a maximum of 80 guests. The Council Chamber is also available seating 30.

Please note, this is not a meeting of the Town Council but an opportunity for the electorate of Penryn to receive reports and updates and address questions to the Council.
