Flowers going to St Just Market this morning

A birthday bouquet delivered to the door, just roses requested and it was really nice to pick, make and, with the scent in the car, also deliver.

A beautiful painting by who asked for some flowers to paint. I picked the rose Chandos beauty and my one peony flower and others.

It’s nice to be asked for flowers for all sorts of occasions and I have lots available now.

A perk of the flower grower/florist job is delivering bouquets and seeing people’s faces light up when they receive one.
This one made with a mix of camellias, cherry blossom, daffs and my first Icelandic poppies, was a gift for someone who needed cheering up.

Funeral flowers can be bright, cheery and beautiful with a touch of wild, all locally grown with no horrible floral foam.

This is the first wreath I’ve made this year and I’m keeping it for our door! I’ve never had one myself, made loads, done workshops but never kept one for myself and I really like it. It’s all eco friendly and as I wanted to let the birds have the berries and not pick any this year I’m using straw flower for a pop of red.
The second one has biodegradable ribbon on it so it’s all nice and green with a rosemary scent too.

Last night’s flower demo after a talk I gave to the West Cornwall Garden Society at Lamorna on Growing Flowers for Cutting.
There were projector hitches so the slide show was random but it was good fun.
The arrangement has been revamped after a call requesting a bouquet this morning.
It will be the last of my home grown bouquets but if anyone would like Christmas flowers I can buy in locally grown ones or I have some dried ones.
