This is the first wreath I’ve made this year and I’m keeping it for our door! I’ve never had one myself, made loads, done workshops but never kept one for myself and I really like it. It’s all eco friendly and as I wanted to let the birds have the berries and not pick any this year I’m using straw flower for a pop of red.
The second one has biodegradable ribbon on it so it’s all nice and green with a rosemary scent too.

Last night’s flower demo after a talk I gave to the West Cornwall Garden Society at Lamorna on Growing Flowers for Cutting.
There were projector hitches so the slide show was random but it was good fun.
The arrangement has been revamped after a call requesting a bouquet this morning.
It will be the last of my home grown bouquets but if anyone would like Christmas flowers I can buy in locally grown ones or I have some dried ones.

We go to my cut flower patch, chat about flowers and flower growing, and you cut flowers to fill your vase.

Enjoyed having lovely visitors to my flower patch last week.
Had my first ‘Play with Flowers’ workshop where we walked to the plot, I talked about the flowers and let them loose with scissors to pick their favourites. We walked back to my studio for a demo and time to fill their vases.
The most talked about flower was the white corncockle.
Later in the week Pendeen Gardening Club came to visit.
I will definitely be doing more workshops this summer, if you’re interested be nice to hear from you.

My beautiful, amazing sister on her civil partnership day with a small bouquet of seasonal flowers. However big or small the ceremony holding a bouquet adds a special touch and it was lovely to make this one for her.

So nice to be using fresh flowers again, l like the dried ones for their shapes but love colour. The pink camellia is about to open into a very pretty flower, one is open on the right. Thanks to polly for asking me to provide flowers for her lovely houses.

Flower filled car off to Sennen for a wedding. Sam and Lisa chose marmite jars for the table flowers and wanted lots of them.
