And then there are the ones that surprise you. I love colour, as does my bride of yesterday but she opted for all neutral shades for her wedding to keep things simple and understated. I sometimes find an all white brief a bit daunting, without the balance of colour to hide behind, but I loved making this bouquet. What a wedding to end my 2021 season on ✨ So much love on St.Martin’s yesterday. And so many thank yous involved in bringing outside in to the Tinklers Hill Barn at the Sevenstones Inn. Firstly to the super trusting and relaxed couple who allowed me to create freely to my hearts content in this beautiful space. Secondly to Emily, Dom and all the team at the Sevenstones who always make me feel so welcome. Thirdly to my wonderful suppliers who helped keep all the content in this room island grown or Cornish. Also to all the islanders who let me in to their beautiful gardens and fields to snip away at interesting foliage and autumnal hydrangea, and who helped me by gathering fence that forms the structure of the arrangements. To my lovely husband for running everything around for me as ever. And finally, (and mostly) to my wonderful children for not only putting up with two days of mummy doing flowers but also being cheerful and helpful. I really do love this space. And the fairy lights.
