So Burns night is upon us!
We are full for the supper but yes we are doing the Burns pizza we call it the Blaggis! Haggis, black pudding, whisky peppercorn sauce. Eat in or takeaway for a tenner! Dog of the week, cutest we could find! Oh and a beef Wellington for a special birthday request. Next week the six nations!

BIG NEWS

We are having our staff day tomorrow so we will be closed, whilst doing that we decided to do a much needed kitchen renovation this coming week, it's taken a beating in the last 9 years!

No food until Friday Lunch, and we will only be doing Pizza and Panzerroti, from the pizza shed, they are really good new flavours and takeaways too.
The Bar will be open with the fires on from Tuesday 3pm onwards right through the week, open as normal 13th Jan 🍕🍕🍕🍕

We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for supporting the original little pub in the country all these years, without you there is no us! ###

We are having live music this Hogmanay from 10-1130pm Our mate is back from Nashville and will play all the stuff we love to sing along to!
Then the piper and drummer will lead you off to the bells.
So lets have a splendid night at the little pub in the country!

Greetings, Yuletide cocktails now on until the end of the year!
a few spots left for Hogmanay, Piper and Drummer at midnight for the bells
Turkey roast and Christmas pudding on every day until Christmas eve.
We are not putting up the giving tree this year, so many are doing it, you can't give to everyone, we are accepting gifts still to be dropped at the Salvation army as we do every year.
Thank you as always for supporting us so well right through the year, without you, we simply don't exist, so from all of us, have a very merry Christmas xx
So much to look forward to next year, we will have our music festival! and so many other events and competitions.

Last week we had a visit from our local MSP Jim Fairlie MSP who is also the Scottish Minster for Agriculture.
We had a good chat about organic farming, debunking some myths and talking about soils, crops and livestock. Jim was very impressed with our hen house and how happy our hens are.
Bringing Scottish farm produce to Scottish tables is very close to Jim's heart so he was amazed by our Honesty Hut and the shopping choice is all 100% Scottish sourced.
