IAAS has teamed up with Chef Jamie Harrison of the award-winning Kirkstyle Inn in Dunning to produce this year's lamb dish for marking the 15th year of the campaign.

Some of Scotland’s leading chefs have inspired lamb dishes for this celebration over the years, including Andrew Fairlie, Tony Singh and, last year, Derek Johnstone, the Executive Head Chef at Archerfield House who created the Muckle Pie. The aim is to inspire consumers across Scotland to buy lamb to cook at home or to order it in the pub for St Andrew's Day, and for those hosting St Andrew's Day celebrations to make lamb the main course.

Jamie's starring dish for 2025 is a trio of lamb which showcases the different cuts and how versatile lamb can be to cook.

Lamb is one of Scotland’s greatest natural assets and it deserves a day of its own, he says. As a chef he loves Autumn lamb as it has especially good flavour and marbling.

The Kirkstyle Inn has had a lamb dish as the main event on its St Andrew’s Day menu for many years and Jamie says this has been a great way to reintroduce his customers to remind them that it's full of flavour, packed with good, natural nutrition and comes straight off our hills, so it’s an absolute winner on many levels.

COMPETITION !!
We are at it again, this week two tickets to see Scotland V Tonga this Sunday at Murrayfield.
We can't promise you the drama of the football team, but you never know!!
Like and share, tell you family, friends, neighbours, cats, dogs, horses, get them all involved, closes Thursday at 11pm.
Also a plug for the Whisky club event on the 5th Dec and live music on the 6th from 745pm, all from the little pub in the country, who's fires are always on!

Competition time, we have two tickets to Murrayfield this Sunday for free! With our great mates at Tennents we are sending two luck folk to watch what should be a belter!
