Well
What can I say, although I haven't posted in a while, we have been super super busy.

The rain 🌧 is really getting us 2 legged and 4 legged down. Fields a flooded and all the animals are having to have lots of duvet days, however the sun 🌞 did come out for a brief period especially for out visit to Aria Court Care Home celebrating their 10 year anniversary.

Harry was doing is therapy work and Sovereign entertained the residents and their families with his tricks.
We made fresh candyfloss and salvatore did his diabolo juggling it was a really lovely day.

We are extra busy with differnt projects at the moment so I have been terrible at posting.
Here is a little update
Weather is hot and some of the animals enjoy it and some don't. Hamish is finding it a little bit too much and is always sleeping under the tree and looking to have a spray down with the hose, donk rather loves the hot weather and basks in the sun.
It's horse fly time so no rest from the wicked 🪰 things, each year they seem to become more resistant to fly sprays.
We are just letting the animals relax in this heat.
Donk and Harry visited a care home and attended a nice birthday party for a little girl the other day and that was lots of fun.
The animals are doing limited jobs and visits in July and August as it's a bit warm to be traveling around to often but we have a few dates available in September so get in touch if you want a special guest at your event.

HAPPY WORLD
🫏 DONKEY DAY 🫏

Here is a little about our donkey " DONK "
It is a fact that donkey's need other donkey's to bond with, they should never be kept alone and it's always recommended that they have another donkey friend and I fully agree with this however, try telling that to Donk, he has no tolerance for other donkey's and trust me we have tried. He has no interest in donkey's, horses or ponies he will put up with them in the near vicinity but that's it he chases them away and will not associate with them.
Donk does however have a friend that he loves and that's Hamish and we are happy with that he also loves human attention really really loves the company of humans.
So not everything is always as it should be but as long as our animals are happy and healthy that's all that counts

This was such a lovely visit.
The staff at Shire Lodge Nursing Home are amazing, so friendly, you can see that through the comfort of the residents.

Harry as always was a little star, however he did fancy a taste of one of the residents squash and managed to knock over a full pitcher of juice, he is so cute that he got away with it.

Glorious day 🙌 today so had to take full advantage of the 🌞 and get a few of the animals bathed.
Hamish had his very first bath and he absolutely loved it, he loved the water and the scrubing and stood like a little angel for it.
Mysterioso also had a much needed bath and look at him gleam, ignore his tail this will need a few more washes before it's white again.

Harry was a busy boy today
Not one but two care home visits and lucky for Harry, both has some tasty grass to nibble on before he went in to visit residents.
He also thought he would show you sometimes not often he can still do tricks for treats at 28 years old.

Baby Hamish is growing up

So proud, Hamish learnt to stand on a pedastool today. He is such a good boy. We do lots of fun training for treats to get him used to lots of different things to stimulate his young mind. He really loves having a play around

Baby Hamish had his first groom today and met some of the family on his first halter training session he was such a good boy. Takes some time to get used to being led on the lead rope but we will have some fun adventures once he is used to it He is going to be the friendliest highland cow in the country he already loves cuddles and scratches. Harry has been to the ECC sports and social club in Wolverhampton today for their children's Christmas party. Lots off happy kids. we love to do jobs like this to give children from city's, that might not get to see ponies that often, a chance to get up close and personal, stroking, grooming and learning about animals. Was a lovely event and as always Harry was incredible. Shout out to our Christmas elf that had to come along and help in Santa's grotto and do all the glitter tattoos for 50 children you couldn't have done it with out you Thanks for having us More photos in the comments bellow

What a day its been today. Here is a mini blog of the day preparing to take Donk to a Christmas party at Marsh Lane Plant Sale. It was an incredible evening all for a good cause. Marsh lane plant sale support stroke victims in and around Wolverhampton They have Christmas trees and beautiful wreaths for sale so if you are in the area definitely check them out. DONK as always was impeccably well behaved and even got to meet Santa and the lavender girls. He absolutely loves the publics attention. We also sold candyfloss and German handmade lebkuchen, such a fun evening we didn't even notice how cold it was. Now Donk is snuggled up in bed ready for a well deserved rest. (Also thanks to our little assistant Sovereign for holding the torch while we put Donk to bed very helpful .. see end of video ) Donk or any of our 4 legged team still have some limited availability for Xmas bookings, so pop us a message if you want to add something special to your event.
