Venue décor including options such as chair dressing; table centre pieces, lit curtains; flower wall backdrops - to name a few of the things that we are able to provide. No job is too big or too small. We are happy to travel to your required location in order to make your day perfect for you. We endeavour to be on h

and (or at least close by locally) should you need us for anything else on the day. Our aim is to be able to say "yes" to your every requirement. If there is a particular service you require that we do not provide - such as photography or floristry, you can rest assured that we can put you in touch with reputable companies who can fulfill this for you. All you need to do is tell us what you would like, and we will aim to get it for you. We are not limited on the items we can offer you - we will go to all lengths to get you what you dream of for your celebration.

Now that have had their refurbishment and taken away the linear carpet, which I have always used to ensure all my chairs were precisely set out, I've had to take different measures - literally!
This decorators laser beam is the PERFECT remedy for ensuring all chairs have accurate alignment. I still space out the rows by using my trusty "two shoes" measurement method though 👌🏻

That's right! It's Black Friday, and at Carly Adams Events, that means we're offering 0% off! It's better for our family, our existing clients, and our future clients.

As a small business, we think it's important to retain our value - not reduce it; and earn a small but fair income whilst delivering a quality service. We don't feel it's right to give out voucher codes, offers or freebies to entice new customers - thus forcing our children and existing clients to foot the bill. Instead, everyone pays the same price - a fair price. It's better for us, for you, for everyone. Our service is the same, and so, our prices are the same.

For businesses selling off old stock that has reduced in value, then of course it will be cheap; but we aren't selling off products, we are providing a service, and we don't believe good service comes "cheap".

We take an awful lot of pride in our work, and value ourselves enough to retain our fair prices to enable us to earn a wage without making anyone suffer.

A Halloween themed wedding we dressed the chairs for, for our friends at for today's wedding of their couple: H&J.
Emerald green taffeta (or Slytherin green, as the bride affectionately renamed it) on black, was absolutely STUNNING 😍
Bride and groom added all of their own decorations including trees, aisle runner, candles, curtain and foliage.

I like to keep it real, as many business owners don't.
What you see with me is what you get, and I feel it's important for you to know who you're booking and trusting with your special event.

Part of being me includes going to Addenbrookes twice a year, to have some of my immune system killed. Alongside being extremely busy - typically around the times my infusion dates fall (spring and autumn), I get extremely fatigued for a month or so before they're due; often meaning that when I stop and take a moment, my body and mind each take a few more.

Once every six months, I go and spend a day at the best neurological department in the whole of the UK, in order to receive a treatment that suppresses the part of my immune system that is attacking itself - specifically my spinal cord, and small areas of my brain. Without this treatment, I would be very poorly, and in the past, have been bed bound for weeks. I'm very fortunate to be in receipt of this treatment; and in a few days once it's made it's way deep into my system, I will be more able to respond to my enquiries in a shorter time frame. I cannot describe how I feel when I'm in those last few weeks pre infusion, but the following months after (for the most part) I feel alive and well. Fortunately, Adam and our children are always here to support me, and to fulfil our bookings. This is our family business, and we pride ourselves on delivering exactly what you asked for.

Here's a little snapshot of my time in hospital today. I've omitted the 4:50am alarm, CoViD test result, and fuel filling element to my journey. No selfie, because I'm on recycled hair today (told you, I'm keeping it real 🤷🏻‍♀️), but these really are my pics.
And in case you didn't know, I'm rather partial to both Percy Pigs and Coffee shop visits...

Open day at before the REFURB begins 🤩

We chose an autumnal feel for today's fayre. GM Alicia requested navy tones for the chair dressing of the aisle - which worked BEAUTIFULLY with our Maple and Acer trees 😍 🧡💙

We also styled a few tables to demonstrate wedding breakfast table set ups, with a variety of designs in both rustic and modern designs.

I was available to show people different colours from our sash rainbow. We had one of our neon signs (All You Need is Love), our lit backdrop, our hedge wall, and our flower filled Love Letters out on display.

Nice to meet some new people today ☺️

Today we dressed for the last wedding before their refurbishment begins next week. This was a special one for us, as one of the wedding couple works for head office of

J&J decided to tie in some real autumnal vibes, and chose natural and terracotta linens for their chair dressing, our maple leaf trees to encase the theatre style seating for their wedding gathering, and our copper framed neon sign, where eventually, their cake will sit in front of. Both the bride and groom have a soft spot for fairy lights, and asked for us to block off the side wall with our lit backdrop. They provided their own bunting and ceremony table foliage and fairy lit glass bottles.

Lisa at created a STUNNING flower display which contained an array of florals in some beautiful autumnal reds and oranges 😍

My wonderful photographer friend, took a couple pics for me while he was at the venue, and I have added a few of my own to the end of this little gallery.
You'll be able to tell which ones were taken by the professional - even if only taken on a mobile 📱

Our second wedding last weekend was held at the ever welcoming
Charley and Oliver were looking for a classy yet relaxing vibe for their wedding day, and asked us to bring our Chiavari chairs along to the Sibson Inn for their guests to have a seat for the after ceremony celebrations. We also provided our post box and an easel for the couple's welcome sign.

It was lovely to be back at The Sibson, and a really lovely surprise for me to see an old work colleague of mine looking after the bar ☺️.

Last week, we had the pleasure of dressing one our favourite venues: for Chloe and Rob.
Chloe and Rob were very certain on their colour scheme from the moment we met, and it was nice for us to dress a wedding that visually included the cross over from summer to autumn.
Unfortunately, we weren't able to hang around this week to assist with room turn around - so have no photos of the wedding breakfast set up.

Chloe and Rob chose to book one of our packages that are tailor made for weddings at The Bell Inn, and they added our flower wall - which also allowed for group photo opportunities, should the weather have been against them.

It was a lovely job for us, and we're so pleased that Chloe and Rob were so happy with our work that they left us a lovely review.

It's not very often I get to see the reaction from any of the guests at weddings I look after, let alone the bride; but on this occasion, I did. What lovely reactions and comments they were too 🥰

Comments of "Oooooh... Look at all the fairy lights 😍", to "ohhh, isn't it bonnie?" (Love that! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿), to the bride seeing the room turn around and crying and hugging me 🥰

P & C got married last month, at one of our regularly visited venues -
After a colour change from navy to green, our couple were very happy with what was produced. I believe the comment was "It's perfect, Carly. It's so much more than I'd imagined it would be.".

We lit the pillars; dressed the chairs with our covers and green linen sashes, and I added in the flowers that Paula and her sister had made "to go wherever works" to every other chair. We laid an aisle runner, and added a privacy backdrop for the ceremony, before turning the room around with the events team at the hotel. The rustic and natural look was just lovely.

Thank you both for trusting your referral to me. It was a genuine pleasure to put this together for you.

I'm told the couple have now received their images, and so I can share mine here now too.

**appreciation post**
As a lot of you may have been aware, we've been extraordinarily busy this wedding season. In the past four days alone, we've looked after seven weddings.

Now, while I might be the name and face you see, it wouldn't have been possible without the hard, unseen work that this guy on the right puts in. He does almost all the heavy lifting and bulky jobs, and I tend to come along and pretty it up. He also has a full time job during the week. No, he doesn't rest.

We're a team, but he seems to swoop in discretely, and disappear without anyone noticing. Occasionally, he does all of the work - Saturday was a prime example of this where he took the lead on looking after S&A's wedding for me while I was on a different job elsewhere. What a smashing job he did too!

The day before my own birthday, I was asked by my lovely friends at and to help out with a very exciting birthday celebration they were looking after for a very fortunate little girl named Oriana.

They wanted to add a little sprinkle of fairy light magic to the wonderful fairytale entrance and for behind the cake forest.

As you can see, there was a huge amount of attention to detail here. The lit butterfly flaps their own wings, and the giant flower actually blooms 😮

Nice and straightforward for this one: white covers on chairs with a popular shade of blue as the dressing. Aisle heavy on the bows to draw the eye to the focal point at the end.

**Admin Day**
Thanks to everyone who has been in contact recently. The weekend was a really busy one with weddings and also a large wedding fayre, which involves an incalculable amount of hours unseen work - both before and afterwards.

Today, I endeavour to drink plenty of coffee, and respond to everyone who is sitting waiting for a reply.

May Bank Holiday number 2 was busy!
We had a huge celebration day at one our local favourites , where we were asked to look after a premarital blessing ceremony, and a huge celebration finner afterwards. Over 200 chairs were dressed for this booking, and while keeping the sunflower theme rolling through, we had two very different types of styling involved.

We started in the conservatory with our Chiavari chairs, which we attached a large sunflower and gypsophila embellishment to every second chair. Our lovely friends at loaned us the thrones for the family, and they were thrilled with the look of the conservatory - as were we! I LOVE a sunflower 🌻

After the blessing ceremony styling was complete, we moved in to the larger of the function rooms - the Orton Suite, where Equinox Storm had draped the room with black backdrops, and we covered the chairs before finishing them off with a sunflower yellow sash.

We were so pleased to be involved with this bright, cheery and exciting celebration.

For the first time since 3rd March, we had a FULL weekend off work (minus a teeny bit of admin). Of course, we didn't use it to relax. Instead, it just turned out that my Christmas present and by birthday present both happened this weekend. On Friday, we travelled to London to see the MIND-BLOWING Sam Ryder. Whether or not you like his music, it cannot be taken from him that he has perhaps the most unbelievable voice in the industry. There is not much he cannot do with it. He is a seriously engaging, energetic entertainer. He sounds EXACTLY how you hear him on the radio! I enjoyed watching him so much that we've booked to see him again in August. Yesterday, we travelled back to London to see P!nk. Oh. My. Goodness! I've grown with pink for the past 24 years, and she is so, so much more than I realised at the age of 14. She is INCREDIBLE 🤩 like seriously incredible. I have NEVER been to a show like hers, and I'd go back to see her in a heartbeat. Her displays, engagement, and act were like nothing I've experienced before. It was exciting, but the finale was just something else. There was a bit of a balls up with our original tickets, and we managed to grab some from elsewhere the day before we were due to go; and we were SO fortunate to get the tickets we did. They were so much better than the ones Adam had originally booked. Rarely, but sometimes in life, things turn out better than you'd expected when things go wrong. I've cried, laughed, I've given myself jaw ache from grinning at both shows. I'm tired, I've over eaten, I'm dehydrated, but being so immersed in such amazing music and talent all weekend has been worth it. I'd best get my laptop open soon and do some work. I've a good number of emails awaiting a response. Fortunately, I love my jobs and am blessed to be in demand.

And finally for this weekend: our couple Charlie and Darren got married at one of our local favourites: @ortonhallhotel Charlie and Darren were one of the most chilled, lovely couples we've looked after. Calm, trusting, and genuinely nice people. There were a few different bits we provided for this one, and photos will follow, but for now, here's a walk through of the ceremony set up in the conservatory 😍 Thank you Mr & Mrs Perry for choosing us 🥰 P.S I hope Skye got some cake 🤞🏻

Here's a walk through video of the ceremony set up for K&G on Saturday day, which we completed for our friends over at @deltahuntingdon We provided one of our ivory aisle runners with lanterns and a sprinkle of petals, and our moongate flower arch to head the aisle. We also dressed the chairs with silver satin sashes. I'm OBSESSED with the spacing and setting of the aisle. I measure out the space between rows and how close the runner is to the chairs either side of it. I stand back and check each chair is in line with the one in front. The only thing I'm missing is a lazer pen for confirmation 🙈 Thank you to Delta by Marriott for your continuing support and trust in us to look after your décor services 🥰
