This is a personal post from me…

After much deliberation and trust me it hasn’t been easy, I’ve made the extremely hard decision to take a SMALL step back from organising and managing all the events at GFP…

I have loved organising and managing these events for each and every one of you over the last 4 years, but sadly it’s time for me to take a step back

From 2026 I will only be managing the Showing events once a month from March to October

I can’t thank every single one of you enough for not only supporting Grey Fern, but also me, it’s not been easy and you all know I had some VERY big shoes to fill when I took over the roll of events manager… but I’d like to think we did it and made our OG Carole proud 💪🏼

In my 4 years I’ve made some lifelong friends, I’ve seen people grow, watched them start from the absolute beginning and grow to be something wonderful, we’ve had blood, sweat and tears - but it’s been worth it every step of the way

Dates for 2026 shows will be confirmed very soon, Show Jumping & Dressage will still be going ahead under new management, all information regarding all disciplines will be posted soon and I hope you’ll continue to support me and GFP the same way you have for all these years - you’re the reason we do what we do💜

Championship 3 out of 3 complete ✅

We finished the 2025 show season with a fabulous day of dressage today!

Was lovely to see you all today, you were all great!

A massive thank you to our judge Jo Stannard and her writer Wendy! Nick who manned our gate today, Ella in the office and Georgie who made a lovely appearance to call some of your tests!

Couldn’t do it without any of you guys🤩
