Friday kitchen takeover. Ajay (Banjaraa) is back to take over the kitchen this week. Why not pop down for a bevvie or two whilst enjoying the delicious food cooked by Ajay. Food served 5-8pm Friday 30th August 🍗🍟😋

Only 11 days until our next event, so we just wanted to share some more details…

As you may have noticed, the 450 free tickets sold out within 3 days which is incredible, but we are also aware that there are lots of people that are disappointed they didn’t have chance to get one in time. As they were free, it may be the case that on the day, some people that have tickets, may not end up attending. If you think this might happen, then please go onto Eventbrite and simply cancel your whole order, it will then release tickets for someone else. If you need to cancel just 1 or 2 tickets off a larger order, then please contact us by email [email protected] with your name and order number and we can manually edit the order for you to reflect the change. Please remember it is for the local community and if you can’t use a ticket you have, make it available for others 😊

Vendors Confirmed:

The The Lazy Mare will be providing an event sized bar this time with both cash and card lanes. They serve a fully stocked bar along with draught on tap.

Pizza Mondo will be with us again, serving their tasty homemade fresh pizzas – they do provide the option on their page to order your pizza from your phone by selecting the event you are attending!

Banjaraa will also be with us for a second time with their delicious twisted Indian cuisine – Chicken Keema Naan is amazing!

Hemingford Bakes are a fantastic new local business that will be providing us with the much needed hot drink offer, as well as tasty cakes and sweet treats.

Collette’s Crêpes are also returning with their beautiful sweet or savory crepes and waffles that were a big hit last time!

Franks Ices will be coming too, an ice cream legend having been in the business since 1958 and serving traditional ice creams.

Also, food is available from our huge BBQ grill serving burgers, pork belly, chips, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available.

George Elliott will be providing our live music this time around – The Voice Kids Finalist UK 2020 and a local rising star, so please give him all your support by following his page as well!

We will also have a DJ playing Ibiza Chill in between George’s two live sets.

Due to the popularity of the straw bale play area/football pitch this will be returning as well as garden games.

Once again, seating will be limited, so feel free to bring your own camping chairs, picnic blankets, umbrellas, torches etc - but please NO gazebos.

As a community event supporting local businesses and charities, we will be supporting The Waterfowl Sanctuary - they are neighbors of The Paddock on Silver Street. They offer rescue, rehabilitation and life sanctuary to waterfowl such as injured swans, geese and ducks. Please see their very informative page for more information on the great work they do locally and beyond The Waterfowl Sanctuary. At the event there will be collection buckets if you would like to donate to this good cause.

Really sorry to inform you that we won’t be there at Charters this weekend. :((

As some of you might know we have been re-doing the horsebox from inside and we’re really excited to show it to you, however we have done some test runs over last couple of days and have just got a couple of issues still to be rectified. We wanted it to be the perfect experience on opening.

Really gutted not to be there but enjoy the weekend at Charters and we shall see you next week at Peterborough Celebrates! We promise it’ll be worth the wait! ♥️
