Its been an amazing 9 and half years and we have had a blast, thank you to our audiences and participants, whether it was a play, arts jam, workshop, talk, poetry gig, music, dance, meeting, installation or just a wander into the space.

All users of The Undercroft wish Mr Cutting all the best for the future and say a huge thanks for all their support. :)

After founding Eastern Angles in 1982, Ivan Cutting announces that he is stepping down as the company's Artistic Director.

Ivan said: “I always intended to hand in my badge once the company had secured its new Arts Council NPO award for the next three years and had settled into its new home, the Eastern Angles Centre. Over the years I have worked with a vast array of people who have helped make the company the success it is today, and whose hard work and dedication I have depended on so often. It has been a privilege to work with them and to serve the communities of this vast and varied region.”

OUR FIRST SHOW OF 2022 IS...

'Growth' by Luke Norris

Tobes is young, free, and having a ball. Off. He’s successfully ignored his lump for 2 years but it’s starting to get in the way- cramping his style and, worse, affecting his s*x life. So now there are pants to be dropped, and decisions to be made... it’s a real ball ache. Growth is a comedy about growing up and manning up.

This production is performed by 1st Year Level 3 Performing and Production Arts students from Stamford College. This course aims to prepare students for higher education, developing their skills in theatre, film, and production. Stamford College offers full time Performing Arts courses from Levels 1-4. Dates: 11th and 12th February at 7:30pm
Tickets: £10 concessions £8
