Unfortunately the time has come and our florist will be closing for the last time on Saturday the 11th of September.

It has been an absolute blast having my shop for 6 years. I left my job as a nurse and sacrificed my career when I was only 19 to open this shop and boy has it been worth it. 6 years down the line and my life has completely changed since then and I’m in a total different stage in life ,having my own family now and being committed to my shop 24-7 has proven to be difficult. floristry is a skilled job and running this shop is a 24/7 thing no matter how many staff members I have and I cannot switch off for a minute to make sure everything is in check and running smoothly in order to produce amazing flowers for our customers, I’ve had many a sleepless nights, tears, tantrums but also so much joy and many laughter.

In October last year, I opened my second shop, Daisy’s baby boutique, I thought having another shop in a complete different sector would be such a good experience and an exciting challenge for me and I absolutely love it. This shop has established more quickly than I ever imagined and takes up a lot of my time too, Therefore I am struggling to divide myself between both and run 2 different shops from 2 different sectors.

I am looking forward to being able to spend more family time with my husband and my boy.

I am luckily enough to have a huge workshop at home which I currently do my weddings and events in, this will still continue, along with any funeral work, arrangements etc. All my brides have been informed and contacted and all weddings will be honoured and given the same treatment as any other before.

Looking forward to having less sore heads, being stress free, sleeping at night, having supper at decent time and most importantly more time with my husband, boy and family. I will now be able to devote my 100% time and effort into Daisy’s baby boutique and my new shop Daisy’s children’s boutique..…All will be revealed soon.

Huge thank you to all my staff, past and present. For you all your hard work and dedication, I will miss yous all.

Lastly.. Thank you to all my customers who have been so supportive over these past 6 years. You’ve made my dreams come true. I’m just happy that the shop has become far too busy for me to manage than to go the opposite way and I’m so thankful to every single one of you for your custom.
