9 Years of Babe in the Wood Media!

Today, Babe in the Wood Media celebrates its 9th anniversary! What an incredible journey it’s been—full of twists, turns, and unforgettable moments. Over the years, life has brought its fair share of challenges and changes, but my passion for photography has never wavered. I still absolutely love capturing the joy, emotions, and magic of every special moment.

I also celebrated my own birthday this week too, on Wednesday!

This year, I’m thrilled to have a mix of elopements in some of Scotland’s most breathtaking locations and larger celebrations at stunning venues I haven’t visited in a while. I’m so excited for every single one of them!

What a wedding to finish up my year on!
The tentboxers wedding of the year! Jamielee & David have become close friends of mine since I met them at one of Jamielee’s TentBox Takeovers in Glencoe. Many camping trips around Scotland later and here I was photographing their wedding this Saturday! What an absolutely smashing day! Plus I got to stay on and party well into the morning hours with them too!l (some rather questionable dancing was done & much fun was had!)

A few weeks ago, we took Nicola & Grant out for a pre-wedding photoshoot at Bin Forest near Huntly. It was a perfect autumn day, filled with beautiful moments and lots of laughs as they got comfortable in front of the camera!

Pre-wedding sessions are a fantastic way to build confidence, try out different poses, and get to know me as your photographer! I’m happy to travel to any location you have in mind—just ask! Plus, these sessions are included in my wedding packages or available as a standalone experience.

All the autumn vibes! Nicola & Grant were married in the most magical woodland setting next to a babbling stream in a very intimate ceremony with just their closest family, on what could only be described as the most perfect of weather days! What a lucky pair they are to have this incredible woodland literally on their doorstep!
After their ceremony we moved to Fochabers for their reception at the Public Institute where they were joined by many more of their friends and family.
