Macmillan Coffee Morning is returning on September 27th! 🎉🎉

This is our 7th coffee morning and I’d like to make this the most successful yet! Come along from 9.30 and enjoy a piece of cake, a cuppa and a natter while the kids play 😁

All proceeds from the cakes will go towards this amazing cause, as will 50p from every hot drink sold all day!

We are also holding a few raffles for sweet goods - details to be revealed shortly with all entry fees from these being donated too 😁

If anyone fancies donating home made or shop bought sweet stuff to be sold on the day donations are most welcome - please just drop them into the unit the week of the event 😁

Here are details of the party packages we offer! 🥳🥳

Our party slots fill up fast and we currently have some bookings as far ahead as March 2025 so if you are thinking of booking send us a message to start the process 🎉

A party date is secured with a small deposit with the balance due the week of the party itself 🥳

Please note both private play and exclusive use parties are available on Sundays at 3.30-5.30 from 10th Nov onwards as we open for play on Sundays in the winter. The leaflets show the time slots available Sundays from now until November 3rd 🎉🎉

This weekend we have freshly baked Kinder Cookie Pie!! 🤤🤤

Baked cookie dough filled with a gooey chocolate centre and Kinder pieces, drizzled with Dairy Milk chocolate and topped with a piece of Kinder. Enjoy a slice when you visit as it is or have it warmed up with a scoop of ice cream! 😁😁

EDIT - BOTH SESSIONS NOW SOLD OUT!

Our after school creative club sessions are proving to be popular with both sessions having only 2 spaces left 😁

On Wednesday 18th September we are creating an initial canvas with paint, glitter and sparkles

October’s session is on 16th October and the theme is Halloween. We will be creating a selection of sweet treats to be boxed and taken home

Each session is being held 3.30 - 5.30.

Participants will start on their creation at the beginning of the 2 hour session and will get the chance to play while their creations dry/cool down/bake. Any finishing touches can then be added

Throughout the session our kitchen will be open for refreshments, including a full food menu

Tickets are £12 per child and that includes all materials to complete the activity and a play session

EDIT - We’ve always been more than happy to warm up/cool down baby food and this hasn’t changed 😁

We’ve noticed recently that’s there’s a number of people bringing in their own food and drinks when they visit 🥲

I hate any negativity on here but I need to point out how damaging this can be to our business. We rely on purchases from our cafe to keep us going, entry fees are just a drop in the ocean and go nowhere towards paying our massive outgoings.

Of course there’s no obligation to purchase anything when you visit but if you do want to eat or drink anything whilst on the premises it must be bought or given by us.

Bringing in your own food also means we can’t keep an eye on allergens in the unit and this is something considered by Environmental Health when assessing hygiene ratings - we currently have 5 stars and I’d like to keep it this way

As with all circumstances there are exceptions - children are welcome to bring in a drinks bottle and we are willing to chat if you think there’s an exceptional circumstance

Overall we want you to have loads of fun when you visit, I’d appreciate not having to patrol the unit for people breaking the rules, instead spending my time running the business in the way you all seem to love. Thanks to everyone for their support with this 😁😁

Just a reminder of how to play with us

We are currently open 10-3 everyday due to the holidays but remember we are closed Sundays during the warmer months 😁

There’s no booking system with us so you can plan to visit weeks in advance or pop down at the last minute - it’s entirely up to you! 😁

With no set session start times there’s also no need to stress, when you arrive your session time begins 😁

It’s £6.50 for a standard 2 hour session, one hour is available at £3.50 please just let us know when you arrive. Non-walking children (from birth) are just £2. Babies under 6 months accompanying a full paying child are free and adults are too! 😁

You may remember last week when we asked for your feedback on our Halloween parties this year 🎃💀👻

Due to the response I am happy to announce that we will be holding 2 parties as usual 🎉🎉

Both will be held on Sunday 27th October; one at 11am-1pm and the other 2pm-4pm so slightly different to our original plan shown below

Both parties will offer exactly the same and feature the amazing The Face Paint Saint 🎉🎉🥳🥳

As promised, those of you who responded will be given first refusal on tickets. Keep an eye on your inbox in the next few days - we will be sending you a message about tickets with a special, early bird discount as a thank you for helping us make the decision 😁

This is the short walk from our car park to the front door of our unit. Parking is FREE and if you can’t find a space directly outside you can park anywhere on the streets around us (as long as you aren’t on yellow lines or blocking access)

Makes visiting us that little bit easier 😁
