Morning sickness, pregnancy brain and having to keep it all a secret yet somehow I still smashed level 3!

I couldn’t be prouder of myself. A huge thank you to Thomas who supported me every step of the way. A big shoutout to my tutor Emma for being absolutely fabulous and my classmates for the endless encouragement!

I cannot wait for my future in floristry and to meet our little boy 💙

My third synoptic was a wired design which needed to hold a gift.

I made a dream catcher which I later took apart and made it again with dried flowers. The dried design will last for years. They were both so pretty!

I sold the dried one quickly, I have had a few messages asking if I can make more. Let me know if you’d like one too🌸

My first synoptic

Although it’s hard to see from a photo, this hand tied was full of leaf manipulation. I platted, weaved and threaded. It had a wired frame and it was absolutely mahoosive!

I didn’t want to add too much flower and I’m so happy I stuck with that. It was glorious

How could you not believe in yourself/love yourself whilst looking at your reflection in this affirmation mirror!?

I loved making it. The mirror was from an old ikea wardrobe. I love upcycling things and minimising waste, I try to be as sustainable and eco friendly as I can be 🌸

A little while ago I was asked to create some arrangements for a wellness event. I was also given a frame and asked to do something beautiful with it, I decided to create an affirmations mirror and I couldn’t be more in love with the outcome.

I also made matching jam jar posies for each of the tables and the room looked really lovely🌸

I had the most magical time working along side a wonderful team of florists preparing for Christmas over the last few days.

The lion, the witch and the wardrobe theme is already looking absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to see the finished result. It really is like stepping into Narnia ❄️

Tomorrow we say our final goodbyes to Granny Grace, Grace wasn’t really my granny but she was like one to us. We were lucky enough to have her in our lives from before we can remember.She called me her flowerpot, and my daughter her seedling. One of my earliest memory’s was shaking her garden gate, which adjoined ours and shouting “let me out” we used to spend hours in her flower filled garden searching for bugs. My favourite was a ladybird 🐞 I feel privileged that I got to make her funeral arrangement & I feel blessed to have had her in our lives. Sleep tight Granny Grace, keep searching for ladybirds. love your flowerpot xx

My second synoptic was a parallel design.I am passionate about doing what I can to help our planet so I used biodegradable oasis and a biodegradable tray. I love this arrangement. I included some beautiful hand poured candles that I brought from @the_blacksmiths_daughter. They complimented the design perfectly.

WOW what a two years it’s been. Today I took my final exam and said goodbye to college. Our tutor Emma was absolutely amazing and I am so grateful to her for helping me, make my dream a reality.I’m so proud of myself. Here’s a little selection of some of my favourite college designs 🪻🌷🌻🌹
