Half term snuggles. The weather has been dicey, we have slipped and slid through the mud ... hares, deer, a barn owl and countless pheasants to pique our interest. A lot of writing (hence the sofa time) and catching up with friends... it’s a dog’s life.

We have our own pocket climate in Froxfield, all around has been dusted with snow or is still green ... but here the snow is crunchy, sparkling in the sun and beautiful.

The dogs find tracking rabbits endlessly enticing, and I spend quite a while waiting for them to finish their investigations.

Missing from the fun and happiness was Jack's gorgeous wife Megan, she was back at uni, and of course, Father, who died 15 years ago today.
There are too many people and animals that he has missed out on. We all miss him so much.
