This picture is definitely not a true reflection of how this utterly gorgeous pre loved Jane Hill dress fits me!

And that’s more of often than not the same for everyone when you are trying on wedding dresses.

They don’t fit you perfectly.

This dress is about 3 inches off at the back on me. Any quick arm movement and that’s me fully exposed 😂

Obviously that wouldn’t happen in an actual bridal appointment, as we have lots of ways to show you how your dress should actually fit you. We use pins, clips, extra fabric - our toolbox is full to the brim!

If this was going to my dress, we could add a panel in at the back or change the back to a corset. Corsets are definitely on a come back and can add a beautiful feature to a dress.

As all of our dresses are currently bought as seen and off the peg, don’t be alarmed if they don’t fit you perfectly.

You can, however, be rest assured that our in house seamstress will discuss creative options to enhance the aesthetics of your dress, whilst ensuring she fits your body like a glove on your wedding day 🤍

I’ve watched it over and over again wondering if I should post it and then I remembered why I actually made the video in the first place. 10 Years at The Little Pearl - DRESSES EDITION 🤍

Throughout the week I’ll be sharing my top tens with you as we celebrate 10 years of this week!

First up my Top Ten Wedding Dresses that we have stocked here at the boutique 🤍 I could choose so many more but these beauties have either something iconic about them or hold some special memories for me.

1. Untamed Love by Charlotte Balbier Charlotte was the first designer I knew I wanted to stock at the boutique and when she launched this beauty in 2017, it stole my heart!
2. Dove Empire by . What a showstopper. Pink, a bow and a low back. I was sold!!
3. Jessica by . The ultimate in chic and timeless. I loved how we could accessorise this gown and it definitely hugged in all the right places!
4. Marilyn by . When she walked down the catwalk at the preview collection I knew she would have a home at the boutique. Plus it was the first time I’d taken my mum to a buying event and it was her fave. It ended up being a bride fave too!!
5. Snow by . A totally unique look for us. I love her sexiness and the sequin fabric gave true party vibes.
6. 6933 by . The fit of this gown is incredible. Nothing like I’ve seen before for a lace fit and flare!
7. Elodie by . One of our first dresses to totally nail the off the shoulder look and give an incredible waistline!
8. Orange by . The ultimate classic gown in a unique textured fabric. As soon as I felt her, she was on the order list!
9. Clarity by . Never before has a gown showed off your curves like this one. The fit, the fabric, the split - 🔥
10. The Emma by . The one I had the most excitement for to design for our own collection at the boutique. She still is a number 1 for me 🤍
