The Samaritans Festival Branch

We are delighted to be supporting this important charity who will be present at our event
Providing a 24 hour, non-judgemental, face to face listening service throughout the event. People can discuss anything that’s distressing them, no matter how serious or how trivial and the conversation is completely confidential. Whether people feel suicidal or not they are given the opportunity to talk through whatever is on their mind with a non-judgemental volunteer who is trained to listen.

Festival Branch of Samaritans is part of Samaritans, a charity registered in England and Wales (219432) and in Scotland (SC040604) and incorporated in England and Wales as a company limited by guarantee (757372). Samaritans’ registered office is located at The Upper Mill, Kingston Road, Ewell, Surrey KT17 2AF.

Who are we?

Hello we would like to introduce ourselves, we are Kev & Josie, Organisers of The Urban Van festival.

We live together in Worthing, West Sussex, Kev is originally from Sheffield, A normal(ish) everyday couple,

We love to venture out and visit different places and countries, we love to camp in a tent, but we want to buy a van at some point and it would be great to get out there and meet people and chat about your adventures.

We like to put on small events often for charity, this weekend we are holding a retro disco in aid of our local cancer hospice in Worthing.

We are easy going, chilled out people and love being able to help other people which we think is important.
We want to try and bring people together for the Urban Van festival for a welcoming, warm & loving weekend with lots of entertainment & activities and as fun packed as we can possibly make it.

We are not a big corporate company, Putting this together requires a lot of Planning, thought and handwork, we cannot achieve this without your presence and support

With stage and entertainment , licensed bar , food stands , artisan & craft market , van exhibition , wellness area , activities , workshops , kids area , van and tent pitches
It’s going to be a fun weekend
