HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The children are back to school today, so it really feels like the beginning of the year. It's been a really peaceful and restful holiday, I'm not sure I'm ready for the hustle and bustle of normality yet. I'm certainly not ready for any resolutions or 'new year, new me' rubbish! Slow January is what I'm aiming for, normal energy levels will return when the days lengthen and the green shoots begin to show.

In celebration of the beginning of 2025 I have discounted some of wreaths on my website - perfect if your home is looking a little bare after taking down your Christmas decorations - the link to my website is in my bio 💚

My first job of the year is to tidy my studio up and then I will make a list of the seeds I need for sowing in spring - let me know if there is anything in particular you'd like me to grow for you.

Storms make me nervous, and I as don't live next to my flower field it's not just a case of looking out of the window to keep an eye on it. I'm not sure if that makes it better or worse!

Anyway, the sides have been rolled down. Anything that can be blown around has been tucked away, and the doors have been screwed shut. I have done what I can. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all the polytunnels out there🤞

I've gone a bit quite on here, but I'm busy working away preparing for the market on Saturday, 30th November. It's a very good excuse for keeping out of the cold, although it's only slightly warmer in my studio, thermals are a must!
