We offer regular detailing as standard on all our packages, not only do all vehicles get a safe wash on arrival. We will also carry out one safe wash per month if you decide to take your vehicle out.

This ensures it's never put away dirty and that the cover doesn't scratch the paint.

These services are provided by co-owner, professional detailer on site

Welcome to The Road Ahead.

We are a family-run business who share a love and passion for all things cars, especially Jaguars. We currently have 4 in our fleet, a 1994 Jaguar XJ40 3.2s, a 2003 Jaguar S-Type R 4.2 V8 supercharged, a 2008 Chrysler 300C and a 1996 SN95 SVT Mustang Cobra.

This isn't a business that is out to sting you. We have seen how much wedding car companies charge. This is something we are passionate about and run alongside our day-to-day jobs.

We are happy to supply a car or 2 for weddings, proms or maybe just for some nice transport on a night out, for those who want a nice car on a budget.

For weddings we will supply fresh white or coloured ribbons. We will also supply chilled bottles of water, environmentally-friendly confetti and umbrellas should the weather Gods be working against us. We can put together a music playlist or you can connect to the bluetooth system with your own. This is a very relaxed service and we just want you to fully enjoy your time with us.

We don't work out of a fancy office or a lock up. We work from home where 3 of the cars are kept. The 4th and most precious, is kept elsewhere in an insulated garage.

Our costs are calculated on a number of things, including; fuel, mileage, number of cars needed, location and time. Taking that into account, I think you will still be pleased with our quote. Our drivers are insured and DBS checked.

These guys and gals have recently undertaken a mammoth task with our S Type R. She went in for a few bits and came out a week later as a brand new car! They worked their backsides off in getting her sorted, even when things kept going wrong.

Where has the lovely weather gone??

Saturday evening we took a trip out in the Mustang to see the sunset after a very busy day. We want more of this!

Just a reminder to please msg us if interested in hiring one of our cars. It's not our full time business, more of a hobby, even with all the essentials in place, so we can offer very reasonable prices tailoured to your needs.

We have the 2 Jaguars and the Chrysler as standard on offer. The Mustang isn't on our main hire list but can be discussed if desired.

We cater for weddings, proms, birthdays or even if you just fancy a posh taxi for a special occasion.

Our drivers are DBS checked and we have all required paperwork in place.

So who else saw the northern lights last night? 😍 we spotted them with the naked eye over our house around 11pm then hopped in Ocean and drove out onto Dartmoor. What a light show!

Meet Luna.
Luna is a 1996 genuine Ford Mustang SN95 Cobra 4.6 V8. Luna won't officially be added as an events car, not yet anyway as she needs a little work.

Good morning. Here comes the rain!

As huge car enthusiasts, we have developed some good relationships over the years, with people, clubs and companies.

Recently we have met some bloody awesome people.

We are great believers in word-of-mouth and promoting those who thoroughly deserve it.

So, there are 3 companies that stand out for us lately.

Classic-Modern-Retro - we attended our 1st meet here a couple weeks ago and were both incredibly impressed. Jack Smyth is the owner of this fabulous detailing company. You have to check out his page and see the superb work he does. When we have our cars next detailed, this will be the place we use. It also doubles up as a venue for meets as stated above. What more could you want? Head over and take a look now.

LM Auto Refinishing - Lee & Gemma have gone above and beyond to bring our cars back to their former glory. A very friendly, experienced and reasonably priced family business. You only have to look at our XJ40 to see how amazing they are at what they do. Highly recommended!

Re:Fuel - Community Chat - Re:Fuel is one of our favourite haunts now. Whether it be brekkie with friends, a quick coffee, lazy Sunday car meet or Friday night summee BBQ! These guys cater for all. Dan welcomes all and sundry, regardless of what you own or drive. Always good food and friendly people. In fact, we will be there tomorrow!

We will continue with recommendations, wedding and car related!
