The rogue banyan, has issues! Unisex, Dutch chintz outer, fully lined in cocoa silk, but the lining is pieced at the hem, and it’s fairly obvious, and there is a small patched area near the hem at centre back as shown. Check the photos, more available if in doubt! These are aesthetic defects and don’t affect wear, but not as I would like it so £175 inc shipping🤓 Nape to hem 50 inches, chest up to 48”, intended to be worn loose and open.

Reserved. Banyan 18th century style unisex wrapper in Dutch heritage reproduction cotton chintz ‘bizarre’ print, fully lined in soft brushed cotton flannel. Not really reversible as the lining is pieced and there is a slight colour mismatch- very period😍. Will fit up to a 48 inch chest, still looks well on a smaller size though. On the road most of today but here is a little treasure I had to rescue - a lacemaking pillow complete with lace, pattern, and pins. Someone’s unfinished project no doubt, but it makes a wonderful showcase of the art - and this is just a simple pattern😬.

All about banyans/wrappers in the shop this week. 😍😍. The one on the right appears to have a curse on it given all the trouble it’s caused me today. It will be available at a discount once I have sorted the fraying hem, dodgy collar, pieced bottom edge and patch over the accidental snip in the outer fabric 🙄🙄🙄. 60 “ nape to hem - buy it if you dare!
