Jake Lambert is going on his first national tour. Described as "A joke machine" by The Telegraph, the show will see the comedian talk about trying to navigate his way through everyday life, why he has a fear of being normal, and asking why we all feel the need to ask strangers what breed their dogs are.

It seems the perfect time for his first tour too; his online videos have gained over 150million views, he has been supporting Michael McIntyre on his worldwide tour and he will be appearing on the next series of Live at the Apollo.

Celebrate your child's birthday at the Woolwell Centre - where every party begins with a smile!

We have two great spaces available to hire. Our large, brightly lit hall offers ample room for your chosen entertainment such as bouncy castles and the Bickleigh Suite is a delightful area for smaller gatherings.

We have a fantastic in-house catering team on hand to provide refreshments and tasty treats including tea, coffee, cold drinks, crisps, biscuits and sweets or a hot box meal and drink deal for £4pp. Alternatively, you're welcome to supply your own.

Not long to go until those bells ring! There have been many highlights in 2024. I have worked tirelessly to ensure that there has been something for everyone to enjoy. Keeping the centre thriving and accessible for all has been the main goal. 2025 is going to be hard with increasing costs to run the centre, but with effort and commitment from my wonderful team and I, plus with support from our amazing community and beyond, we will do our best to weather the storm and face any challenges thrown at us. We cherish being at the heart of the community, carrying out our responsibilities with love and care for you all. Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! Lynn ❤️

Thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas fete on Saturday, there were lots of smiles all around! The many stall holders showcased a fantastic variety of unique items and treats. Our elves were also on hand to spread lots of festive cheer, helping the children with their cookie and tree decoration masterpieces! Finally, we can’t forget to mention the man in red! Santa greeted lots of families in his cosy Grotto. What a wonderful time of the year 🎄🌟🎅
