Our first day back is going well!

It really wouldn't have been possible to open today without our fantastic tradesmen. Steve Martin, Liam Gallaghley and the whole team have been working around the clock to get us over the line. We will recommence our 'thank you Thursday' appreciation posts to ensure everyones efforts are acknowledged.

We are back with a boom with the spectacular Andy Brown keeping the party going after the match 💚

Today will be our first time opening the new marquee for our members. We are very much looking forward to seeing you all, and appreciate your patience and support with getting up and running 🍻💚

The Green Taverners' build - The home straight

What the Green Taverners' have achieved in the last couple of months is nothing short of miraculous. They open their doors tomorrow when just a week ago I never thought it would be possible. Huge credit to them and their band of tradesmen and volunteers. We have published 106 of Bob's photos which tracks the progress of the last couple of weeks. Good luck for tomorrow Gary, Lena and your team.

Unfortunately, there was a break-in at the new GT marquee at approximately 9.30 pm on Thursday, 20th February. If you hear of anyone selling Makita power tools or large quantities of alcohol, please contact us.

Today we are preparing to say goodbye to the Green Taverners Suite. We have made some fantastic memories in the venue, from hosting weddings and birthday parties to Fanfest's and carveries. Whilst it has been extremely hard work, it has been the most rewarding job. The growth of the Green Taverners is testament to our wonderful volunteers, investors, staff, members and customers. We would like to thank you all for your support over the years. We are so proud of how much we have achieved – from bag packing and bucket rattling in 2011, to running a 2 storey supporter bar overlooking Plymouth Argyle football pitch. It has been quite the journey! The Green Taverners has become a family for most, and we look forward to continuing that relationship in the GT Marquee. We have realised over the years that it isn’t about where we are, it is about who we are with. We are so looking forward to what the future brings 💚
