After months (years actually) finally managed to find the frame (long story). I now have Alan Warners "Thru N Thru" complete again! (Except for the shoe lace supply your own)
If you know about Alan Warners "stuff" then you will know it is beautiful, clever, well made and highly sought after.
This particular one is only for sale as I already have one in my collection!
This Alans verdsion of "Ribbon Fantastique" The spectator chooses either the white or black plastic plaque.they are placed into the frame and a shoelace placed thru the holes linking the two plaques securely together.
The chosen plague is then magically removed.
As you can see from the pictures the red paintwork has chipped a little in a few places so this is not pristine but still very useable and of course works flawlessly.
NOW! as its you... Before this goes onto ebay and sells for some stupidly high price. I am going to offer it here first. £65 Inc (UK)

Tomorrow (wednesday 9th oct) will find me at the Waie Inn = Zeal Monachorum, wow what a name AND what a place to find! There in the middle of nowhere is where many magicians will meet for the Exonian Magical Society, magic convention!
There is as always a very full day of lectures and a full night of shows AND... some dealers! Yes one of those is ME!
I have a car full of wondorus 2nd hand magic. (Bring cash I can do a better deal!)
So hopefuly I'll see some of you there!

Just back from the Circus! Tonight I had the pleasure of being a guest of "Mister David", the Ringmaster at "Gravity Circus" currently here in plymouth. It's an Italian circus (first time here in the UK) and not a clown in sight! As you can guess from its title, several arial acts, jugglers and yes even an illusion act. David the ringmaster is amongst other things (Juggler, accrobat and all round entertainer who keeps the show going) a magician. (he does a very nice and funny misers dream routine with a boy from the audience). His children are also in the show and are incredible Jugglers and acrobats.
The whole cast is outstandingly talented.
In several places there is even fountains of water as part of the show. Not your ordinary chow.
In all an outstanding show, and you won't be dissapointed.

Well... There was one thing that did dissapoint me. The audience. Very rude of you to start running out as they did the closing of the show. I get that you want to get out before everyone else. Just like in the movies as soon as the credits roll - out you go. And what happens? You miss something hidden in the credits. As you did tonight. Unusually the whole cast make their way out (Supposedly) in front of the crowds,to be there at the exit to say goodbye in person. So if you rushed out you missed that final touch to an excellent show. And very rude of you!

It's very rare to find anything magical in a charity shop but it does happen.
This for example... They of course had no idea what it was... To be honest I probably wouldn't have either if I didn't already have one!

I bring great news!
My straitjacket has been returned!
Through a series of highly unlikely events, but i'll take that as a win! My thanks go out to you all for sharing and caring, thank you. And yes once it has had a small repair it will back in it's place again.

Oh one samll thing. Anyone got a maniquinn for sale????

The Mummy!
Now here's an oddity. You may remember this from a few months ago where I tried to find the maker of this particular version.
Now usually this masterpiece is made in a dark wood by master craftsmen. But this one is beautifully made and decorated in blue and gold. A stunning piece. It comes with instructions from Inzanly Hennly = but = This is not the usual model sold by them. The only suggestion I got was it may be from "Archi Ologist" who specialised in egyptian magic. But I cannot find out anything about him?
I did however come across another Egyptain style prop that was in design very similar to this (different trick). but unfortunatley that didn't help. as they didn't know the manufacturer either!
So if you can help drop me a line...
If not and you like the look of this fabulous piece then unlike the usual £600 tag for this trick you can have it for £350 inc

Last nights meeting meeting of the plymouth society for the preservation of appathy was a complete succes. No one turned up!

However the Plymouth magic circle... Was also a great success. Best night the club has had in years!!!!
Great night guys. Some VERY good magic.
